Thailand Car Insurance - Are refunds available ?

Well my new Toyota comes with free insurance, now would i get a refund on my current insurance as i obviously don't need it. We renewed in December 2025 and paid 13K so any refund should be quite sizable.

Now i'm fully aware that is the policy in the UK but TIT and i'm a farang lol

Well wifey has just phoned our insurance agent and asked her and she said YES we will get a refund as we are selling the car.

She could'nt confirm how much they will refund WTF !!!

I.ve always received refunds on the full months remaining, on both car and motorbike policies.
