Seeing the old men in their suits all dressed up when sitting in the parks and then the young girls who dress so amazingly. They are a very cool, fashionable generation (the young girls that is). My next life I'll try to marry a Korean or a Japanese... A few around here on holiday and there are serious lookers among them. Sorry for the quality, but taken from a old photo album (1970's) If you wondered about my strange behaviour be aware that I assisted at rather close range at around 20 of those "scientific experiments".... Of course looking at "zero" countdown would have had serious consequences on your eyes (although we looked through dark goggles...) but after 3 or 4 seconds the goggles came off and everybody grabbed his camera ! Google "Mururoa" The ones below are "thermo nuclear" , note the vapor ring. Of course after the scientific stuff a long call in Papeete (our main base) was welcome and usually good fun ! Then off again to the routine stuff... Considering my "Rambo" body shape (lean and mean 5555...) I was even selected for the disembarquement unit, to do some operations on land. Mainly the exercises were about rescuing expats from a remote location after an uprising by the locals. I don't know anything about him mate.We never really followed AMA Superbike racing in the UK,only when they used to have the USA V UK Transatlantic series.
