@thumper63,

Definitively a beautifull scenery. But a bit too cold for my old bones !

Tiz true on both accounts.  Tomorrow the high is to be -2 C and the low of - 20C. Definitely cold but also invigorating at the same time. The biggest difference seems to depend on what you're doing at the time and the mind set that surrounds that particular activity. My brother is an avid skier and he loves to rip the slopes up when the temps dip into the minis 30s and 40sC. I'm a contractor and am out there building houses on the same days he's ripping up the mountain. At the end of the day he's telling me what a great day it was on the mountain and I'm telling him how I was freezing my nuts off out there on the job site.

Same day, same temperatures but 2 totally different mind sets....lol. But I'm one of those strange creatures who dosen't mind the snow an ice and cold and yet having grown up in the deserts of Arizona I thrive in the heat of Pattaya. Go figure 555

Terry,

Absolute outstanding pics, will download a few and show to wifey. I booked a week trip to Tahoe Feb 3rd-8th, first time ever in the snow for her, she is geeked up to say the least. Staying at Harveys Hotel/Casino....they are doing well on snow so far this early fall and hope it continues. How in god's name can you work in that? You got my respect.
