Extremely heavy rain for the last hour here on Soi Khao Noi ( East Side ) Also had some rain in the early hours last night. We can sure use it for the water supply at the Lake.

Much thunder and pissing down heavy for about 20 minutes over here on the East Dark Side. Cell is moving fast do don't expect to last long. Our daily dose of piss again/

Pissing down rain again, Strange as we have been getting heavy rain for about 10 days and just about the same time also. This is over on the dark side as I believe we get much more rain than down town Patts. This is good as the lake needs the water for the dry season which is around the corner.

Here it comes again. Getting our daily dose  of rain here in the Dark Side. Lots of thunder and started a litle  rain but looking at TMD radar we can expect more heavy to come. I wonder how the lake is doing ? October and now November has been seen a good deal of rain so maybe the lake is getting full ?

Pissing down rain with lots of thunder. By the looks of TMD radar, this will produce wide spread flooding. Rainy  season still with us as we can really use the water/

I was a B52 crew member 1964 - 1966 and was one of the "Lucky Ones" that was not booked into the Hilton.  God Bless them as it was not easy for them.

As with many tech there is a learning curve (some like me have longer curves than others, lol). The issue I was having is at the point where they ask you to choose a google number (enter the city). Nothing seemed available.... began to piss me off. 

Try using a VPN America IP as Google voice has to have an American IP.GV not supported in Thailand yet.

No free flow only one bottle water and ice.

Yesterday was my birthday so we decided to eat at the Edge  restaurant buffet. Over the years, we have enjoyed their buffet as it was quality food and never found fault. The last time we ate there was about 3 years ago. This time it was a complete disappointment as quality and selection of food and deserts  had a poor selection . In the past it was generally crowded with customers but had no more than 25 customers this time. This is a RED flag to me. In addition, the lunch buffet was 1,540  Baht per person. Needless to say, they lost a loyal customer.

I was successful on changing  my SSA direct deposit to Bangkok  Bank New York. I could have done it on line using " Mty SSA Account " but decided to phone SSA as I had some questions to be answered. After 45 minute wait, I was connected to Help Desk SSA. They changed my direct deposit to BKB with no problems and answered my questions. I find this is the cheapest way to send the money to Thailamd as Wells Fargo charges $40 wire fee and BKB charges $5. Even much cheaper than Wise.

Wise don't do credit checks, only ID checks AIUI.

When I applied to Wise, they asked me for a color passport and additional photo which I complied.

The Bangkok Bank New York branch is considered a US bank. I made a SSA account on line and is easy to change banks direct deposit by providing routing number (121042882) and Thailand BKK account number. BKB charges $5. fee up to $2,000 amount to transfer.  A very reasonable fee. I sent an email to  SSA FBU  Manila  PI just to verify that I can do such changes.

I am unable to use Wise  as they rejected me as well as a few other companies with no reason from them. I did some checking as I have lived in Thailand 33 years now and credit companies in USA have no record of me so I think that is the reason for rejection.

I am thinking of changing my USA Social Security monthly payment to Bangkok Bank New York and then have them credit my Bangkok Bank Thailand account. Has anyone used this method ? If so, can you please explain the procedure to make this change Thank you in advance/

Very torrential rain Khao Noi, East Pattaya. Heavy thunder and this storm will produce flooding. This makes six days in a  row of heavy rain. So much for the dry season we are  supposedly in.
