Get a free quote from German Dental, they are not far from you being halfway up Thepraya road, just a few metres past the entrance to Jade Club.
Top quality work, everything guaranteed for a minimum of 5 years, if you opt for zirconia bridge / crowns etc then they are guaranteed for life.....

Last week i went on a motorbike trip. Went up to the most northern point of Thailand, Mai Sot.
Then used the back roads to go to Chiang Khong and then Chiang Rai.
Next day i went to Bo Kluea where one sees salt mines / pits.
This area of Thailand is by far the best for motorbikes, little traffic, great grippy roads with few potholes etc. When atop some of the hills you are up in the clouds, it can sometimes feel a tad chilly.
One thing one must think about is fuel, fill up whenever possible as stations can be few and far between....

I have used the Redcat site for many years during my motorcycle travels around Thailand and neighbouring countries..
As stated above, much of it is from pre covid and as such is not always accurate, but it's still a most helpful website for us whoremongers.....
I've not looked recently, but the chap also covered Cambodia and Laos too, which i also used to refer to.

Hahahaha like the Aussie sports bar opposite Nirun that served bloody excellent stew and bread for 99 baht!!
Wombat bar, part of the Shagwell Mansion complex.
That stew was top notch, as was the pea + ham soup that was on alternate days.

I started to use the place next door (forgotten the name but moved from soi 13 area). For 10 baht extra everything was freshly cooked .... but still the Retox shills would stop by to interrupt my meal to talk shite!
Would the place you refer to be the Haven ?? They done a bloody good breakfast there, made their own bread too. Plus i liked that one sat on a proper chair at a table and not a wobbly stool at an even more wobbly table.....

In the past, (going back a few years now), I always found that area to be very lively.
Wonder what happens next?
Maybe an extension to the Flipper Lodge hotel ??
I dread to think how much that plot of land the bars have occupied for so long is worth.....

"Not a snake, but can someone identify. Roi Et Thailand 27.4.2023 at 2 p.m. About a meter long."
Monitor lizard.
Leave it be, it will bugger off.
Gives a nasty bite if threatened, and the claws are to be avoided too.....

I expect he sounded his horn to tell you he's there, and not in annoyance to your good self.
It's a very common practice here to give a couple of toots on the horn when overtaking somebody, again it's not to tell them to get out of the way but just a warning that they are passing.
