Forgive my ignorance, but what purpose does this serve mate?

You can actually create a QR-code with all your contact details, let a girl just scan the code... will never get then details wrong that way (as I learnt the other day)...

Yep. IMO a must. Have updated copies and insurance I.D. cards. Keep them in a plastic holder so they don't get trashed and unreadable. If asked present them in a respectable manner.

    ...

I have learned over the years when dealing with bank, insurance and government types that it is more likely than not you will encounter a situation or dispute. Being well prepared can make a huge difference between a simple process or a major disaster.

Yes, agree. I remember when I was taken aside for check once, and I thought the lovely police officer wanted to take a selfie since he waved me over and the other officer prepared his camera, so I placed my hand on his shoulder and smiled... guess that was the wrong approach 🤣 - I received a few Thai words from the sideline, and was ordered to stand at attention and show ID immediately!

  4. Say what you want about Earl Strickland, but there is no denying he is one of the all time greats in pool! Love the banter during the Mosconi Cup press conference.

That looks great, or at least technical and precise. Does that work for every possible glitch - just like switch off, unplug, wait 10 sec and restart. Or it's a more targetted fix?

The command gpupdate /force is basically to avoid what you mention, the power down procedure, it basically does the same thing without the hassle.

If you switch the command to gpupdate /boot, the computer itself will figure out whether or not a reboot is necessary.

  6. ... let us try...

Open up Command Prompt (simply type in CMD in the search field) - type in ipconfig /flushdns - hit "enter". If you need to refresh without logging out, simply type in gpupdate /force - hit "enter"- wait for confirmation, type "exit" to close Command Prompt.

Open browser - type in https://thailand-247.com/ - hit "enter" - could be worth trying in Ctrl+Shift+N to see if it works in Incognito mode...
