My first car was a family owned 1973 Renault 5L, I think about 750cc and it took about a week to get to 60 with a tailwind.
Orange in colour and a great little work horse for our small supermarket, you wouldn't believe how spacious it was with the seats dropped!

That bar became my regular last year, I stayed at The Stay and would pop in for a snack and a few drinks most nights.
Great staff but a really weird layout, it seemed to be a number of different properties all at different levels now used as one bar.

When I stayed in Bangkok a policeman used to pop into a mates bar, I would chat with him and also bought him a drink or two.
One night a drunk was trying to pick a fight with me in a bar but I just laughed it off, in walked the policeman and a few minutes later the drunk left.
The policeman left and then returned to let me know the drunk was sitting outside the next bar in a position to ambush me when I left.
When we finally left I kept an eye out for him and there he was dead to the world outside the next bar.

Thanks Butch, I'll let him know, I personnally just like to walk to the MC stand and hop on a bike. Do you need to have funds on the app or do you pay the driver direct with cash?

Anyone know how much the Motorbike fares are?
I have a friend staying near Sukumvit Road and will possibly use these to get to and from Soi Baukhow to his hotel.

Last December I noticed large trucks taking soil from the road works on Second road up Soi 15 and to a field of this Soi, would these lorries be allowed on a private Soi?

I use to have sleep apnea and was given a CPAP machine, this was before covid and due to some weight loss I no longer need the machine. I tried to return it but was told they don't take them back.
This machine new was worth over £500!
I also have three pairs of crutches that I can't get rid of and this doesn't include a couple of pairs I gave to friends.

I enjoyed it, I stayed there for 3-4 weeks last December.
It was clean, large rooms and I enjoyed the pool, I would go for a swim every morning before the sun got too high.
Only downside was the selection of TV channels, but that was a plus in a way as it meant I spent more time out in Pattaya.
