Well..as you all know who live here, it was brutal the last 25 days or so.....our A/C bill for a 2 story home reflects just that...highest bill ever here at her home wifey tells me.

    It's cool....no pun intended.

The last week or so, we here are able to NOT put the A/C on until about 2:00pm or so.....but upstairs at night, it goes on immediately when watching TV in the "woman cave" LOL!

and no doubt like you Mike i could'nt GAF how much my leccy bill is, i can't put a price on my comfort, just pay the bill whatever it is.

Too each their own. Not worth it for me.

Bingo, despite being affordable i will never ever buy a BC seat all the time i've got a hole in my arse lol, i hate flying as a passenger, i get this heady feeling (cabin pressure) which is really uncomfortable and it makes no difference where i'm sitting, i can't sleep despite trying all sorts of remedies.

Paying these prices for BC is just not worth it imo of course but i can quite understand those that do and no doubt benefit from it.

  3. We had a real violent downpour yesterday afternoon at 2.30pm here in Korat lasted for an hour, garden flooded. Temp dropped to 28C :default_clapping: just lovely but humidity was 85% 😒

Thats the first rain we've had for weeks......

It is about a three month period. Basically March-May. The days can vary in severity. Some days are dog awful. Smoke is typically from crop burning and comes from Lao, Cambo, Burma as well as within Thailand.  It does not really let up until the rains come. The rains have started recently. Then after a while beauty abounds.

But do you have trouble breathing, do you notice the pollution when breathing ?

I was expecting that. But the fallout isn't rubber, etlectrical, chemical, and Dog knows what other poison.

    and

It isn't all year long, without nealy the number of motor driven vehicles.

Just my English SOH mate, yes i understand the pollution is different and not all year round but nevertheless pollution is pollution and we are ALL better off not being exposed to it, whats it actually like in CM trying to breath the polluted air ? The only time i've been to CM was in December for a 1 week stay and that was back in 2008, so i'm way out of touch.

Those industrial fires they are having in that area lately seem to be almost weekly.

    Horrific stuff.

When I lived there Nov. 2019 - Oct. 2020 I couldn't wait to get out of there.

    Where to mate, CM......

Both championship semi final first legs finished goalless for the first time since 2011. I think Leeds & Southampton will be favourites to get to the final but it’s all to play for. Come on you Baggies!

Bit like watching paint dry at times lol

Yes mate, just before he won the World's too, so he was playing really well.

    BUT, so was I and I came a credible 2nd. 🤣🤣🤣

I remember watching the final, what a great match.........well thats enough TFing lol

Dennis Taylor (born 19 January 1949) is a Northern Irish retired professional snooker player and current commentator. In the 1985 World Snooker Championship final, against defending champion Steve Davis, Taylor lost the first eight frames, but recovered to win 18–17 in a duel on the last black ball .

Hi Pumpuinarak, sadly we sat and waited, day after day, nothing.

Well our gardener told my wifey that he's been in contact with your wifey and she's even sent him pictures of your garden...................hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Your builder has been in touch with my wifey and he's going to come round and look at the work on a date to be arranged.

Sat in Father Ted's with the intro to the Old Firm game on. A dodgy ex Spurs keeper and centre half playing for Celtic, I'd be tempted by the 3/1 on the away team.

Just hope they'll be no after timers with OTT celebrations on here if Celtic do it.

I watched the match and was pleasantly surprised by the standard of play, i enjoyed and imo Celtic fully deserved the win.

Probably the first time I heard proper Sax playing was at Wembley stadium for a Bruce Springsteen concert.

Born in the USA tour, 1985 ish I think because I did an exhibition match against Denis Taylor just before he won the world title. Then went to the concert in the summer after. So guessing June, July time 85.

Incredible concert apart from I was deaf for nearly a week after. Lol.

You got to play DT !!! now thats some achievement :default_clapping:i was a big fan of his, imo a great ambassador for the sport, how did you get on ?

Saw BS at Wembley Arena in the early 90's along with my 11 yo son, my sister and a mate. It was in the days when smoking/drinking was allowed 😒and me and my mate were sharing a spliff, my son said to me ''hey dad why are you and Rich sharing a ciggie ?'' i was lost for words lol

BS was just brill and loud lol

Another helpful tip for you guys....I you dont already know...

If you ever want to be able to read anything in Thai or Chinese on Shopee or Lazada... Use the camera option on Google translate....

Just look through your phone at the item your interested in on your desktop monitor....

The translation detail you can pick up is amazing.....Tiny print on labels etc...

Man is just like being able to read Thai or Chinese fluently....

Thanks for that, really useful info 👍
