Easiest/quickest way to see it is do tour from Kanchanaburi to Erawan/Hellfire pass/anywhere up there that includes 30 min trip on ‘death rail’. The station they plop you on at has this view.....

Note the railway skirting the edge of the mountain on stilts in the distance on the left.

If you get the chance Hellfire Pass is worth a look
