... Unless of course you aren't referring to the toast but to what he picked from the slaughter house..Normally cow or sheep's hide but often they'd give my Dad a couple of pig's heads for free. My Mum would boil them down to make home made brawn.
Bloody delicious with a good smearing of Colemans English!!!!
Had this recently in the village.

She moved out of there around Covid time and freelanced in Boomerang Bar then moved back.
Tried to get a donation from me by saying that her English husband was knocking her around a bit.
That really was a damned good bar back in the days of the Malibu Bar opposite with the stage and shows ....
I always enjoyed the Tina Turner show at Malibu bar from my chair at the Bodeag bar.

The only reason I know is that on a drunken sad day some 23 yeaars ago I met my wife for the first time in the Bodega bar. If only I walked past to Nice with Ice and got my dick sucked instead.

I thought Nice with Ice was upstairs just next door to the Post Office. FWIW Pumpstation is still there, or at least it was 2 weeks ago lol.
My memory of Nice with Ice was sitting next to the FLB forum BM Gman while we were both getting blow jobs, and a bloke 2 seats up was reading the newspaper at the same time!.
While we're in the area, I spent a couple of evenings in Wonderful bar at the top of the Soi this trip, as my friends cousin works there, as did she back in the day.
That's a real blast from the past.
I played a few darts and pool matches for them back in 95. At the time I was staying at the Britannia on Soi Yamato, (run by Mickey, the leeds fan and Skinny) next door to the Poteen Still run by Danny Maher (lovely bloke and his wife was also very nice - I also remember his daughter who was just a babe in arms at the time).
As it happens Pleasuredome was short of players so I stood in for a couple of weeks. Can you remember the name of the GoGo on that street back then?, 1 unit size. about half way up with the centre stage and seating around it.
My memory fades as I get older but wasn't the Bodega bar at the top of the soi and Wonderful bar one soi further down?

Waiting for my luggage, EVA flight landed an hour late as usual.
Will you be able to get home tonight or are you going to stay in a hotel?

The way I stumble down the soi's (even on a good day), sweating, grumbling, moaning, shaking my head and barking at people,,,,, I may actually fit into this category.
If you see me coming the other way doing a similar thing give me a head wobble so I know it is you.

Yep I went in there a couple of times but from what I remember it was best to have the act done under the bar whilst watching the porn movies cos the girls were pig ugly.
My mates bar The Pleasuredome was a couple of doors down on Soi Post Office.
I do remember have a beer, sitting at the bar watching pornos getting my dick suck by who knows what.
Glory day

Another difference I've noticed with Songkran this year is how many more trucks loaded with people and water barrels are cruising the sois now. In years past I wouldn't see the numbers I'm now seeing until the 19th.
That is how my Thai family will be doing it (so I am told).

I had a friend that when I paid my bill he would always put his chit with the correct amount in my bin at the same time. This way he never had to pay a tip as I always did. He would also send me texts each day telling which bar had the free food on. I never went to these bars.
RIP Denis.

I have had a Kasikorn account for years which has always been free but when I got the new card this trip I now have to pay 250 baht every year.
