UK requiring proof of negative testing from 5 January....so how many will be in the UK by then?

Fer fcuks sake if yer gonna do it then do it properly, wankers!

    Same same USA.

On Wednesday, the US said a lack of "adequate and transparent" Covid data in China had contributed to the decision to require Covid tests from 5 January for travellers entering the country from China, Hong Kong and Macau.

A word about any self injection ....With any substance.....

Intramuscular injections are all I do....No veins......

With a 1ml needle you hardly feel anything....Just a tiny prick....

The only ones I ever tried that hurt were some vitamin C injections, they were just too acidic....

In the UK they now say "just a small scratch"

Suggest having a look at Bangkok Drugstore prices for your BP meds. I found them to be quite a bit less than what the pharmacy charges and often times I'll have my order the next day. As an example I'm taking Amlodipine/Valsartan and a box of 28 tables costs 920B.

I can't quite work that out mate. Is that a box of 28 strips of 10 tablets..= 280 tablets  or is that 920 B for less than a months supply ??

2020 I stayed for 7 months so ran out of BP tablets, checking back I was quoted the following prices at Fascino P. Nua.

    Doxazosin 2mg    1,555 / 100

    Doxazosin 4mg    2,225/100

    Amlodipine 5mg    215/100

Amlodipine 10mg    280/100 (Best value, break in half)

Funnily enough, Fascino on P. Tai had Dox 2mg priced 45/10 and Ramipril 10mg 1303/30.

    Looking at bikes for sale.

Not having a bike is like not having a limb.

I understand, With a bike in my garage I'm not bothered about using it with snow and ice around, just knowing it is there is good. Without it, I would be climbing the walls.

I think you don't have any garage facilities though, rough on the bike and not popular with insurance companies.

The pick-ings are getting mighty slim on finding new Nazis.....About the only people left would be the Hitler Youth....Would they stoop so low as to convict the Hitler Youth?...You never know with these guys...

Even the Hitler Youth would be in their mid to late 80s now..

If they are going after a civilian typist then why not a quasi-military child armed with a broomstick.

Both cases are equally ridiculous IMO.

Can you bloody believe it! I've just been having a morning BBQ with friends and part of my tooth fell off. I was only eating fish !!

I called my usual dentist "Dental Smile" on 3rd road and they are busy until the New Year.

    So, any suggestions are welcome!!

Can't help on this, not in town. Last Christmas I had carrot and coriander soup for dinner and supper due to dental treatment, very tasty!

I used to buy crates of Michelob in cans off our local RAF base for peanuts some 30 years ago. Really liked that distinguished taste back then.

For me, it was cans of Schlitz and cartons of Marlboro from the local USAF base PX. The guys wife used to bake loaves of bread for me too.

  10. A friend managed to close an account at Bangkok Bank while stuck in Europe due to ill health.

He sent me copy of Bank document via  Line with cashiers name, I went in and asked to see her, explained and she added her email address to my friends Line conversation on my phone.

He just informed me that he has been able to close the account and transfer the funds back home. Probably took about 2 months in total.
