Yeah, but what if you are only there for a couple of nights? I used to like checking in after arriving from my long overseas flight and having a cold beer from the fridge - now I'm expected to run out and buy my own instead, and the nearest place to do so is the 7-11 back on Soi 4.
You can buy a beer from the fridge in the lobby
i always stay in dynasty but I do miss the breakfast in the morning.
there is very little hotel staff working in the hotel and If your room is not available for them to clean when they are doing their rounds it could be hours before they get back .

Can anyone recommend a hotel on soi 8 ?

Thai ladies are very good at turn on the water works when the going gets tough and maybe turning your friend against you .
if your going to tell your friend make sure you have all your facts right and maybe a few pics otherwise it may get dirty

Inheritance tax is paid by those receiving the inheritance.
Yes I know that
what I’m saying it might be better to turn your assets into money and give them the money before you die so they won’t have to pay any tax .

Sounds like a good plan to me .
but what about inheritance tax ? Does your Thai wife have to pay anything or your family back in America? . -

I am arriving late October and would like to know if a negative Covid test is required to enter Thailand. UK departure and my airline don't need one.
I've looked online at the Thai embassy and other sources but they are all dated information.
I travelled at the start of august and was only asked for proof of vaccination at heathrow. Nothing was asked for in bkk

Yes I was shocked when I landed in bkk this morning and saw all the planes parked up and the was only bkk airport. What about other airports around Thailand how many have they parked there ?
Plane was full from London to Thailand maybe it might be time about taking a few a380 out of storage and put them back into service.
was also shocked with Thai immigration finger printing every one 😮😮😮- 1

Other than passport there was no need to show any documents at immigration window.
No landing forms to fill in on aircraft.
I did however upload our vaccinations certificate (last QR code) to Finnair when checking in on line so at drop baggage in airport just had to show passport.
Thanks

Citrus Suites at the corner of Soi 4 and the dogleg portion of Soi 6 gives a lot more space and comfort than an ordinary hotel room and the cost isn't much higher. Some of the one-bedroom suites have a kitchen with fridge, microwave, stove top, all utensils needed for cooking and dining and a clothes washer-dryer.
It's great for a stay of a few days or longer. The girls absolutely love this type of room. It was my top choice among BKK hotels in the Nana area.

Some pics:
Do they do early check in and late check out ?

Silly doing away with pre testing before flight . Why didn’t they do away with pcr test in Thailand?
at least if you fail test before your flight you can stay at home but fail your test in Thailand and your in quarantine or hospital
