The Swallow in Plymouth is very close to me.

During one of my early days,was staying in Eastiny 7 opposite Pig and Whistle.

Got in the lift and noticed the other passenger was a ladyboy.Waited for her

to leave before I got out.I used to think it was embarrassing in those days.

No idea.Didn't even have grandparents.

Just had a few days in St.Helier,Jersey and a 

pint of Peroni was £7.50.Jersey used to be

really cheap compared to UK.Even petrol was

dearer.

When we went decimal I was buying 10 fishing lures at 75 pence each and the

young lad used a calculator I gave him the correct money already in my hand.

He said how did you know that.I said I went to school.

hotel in that time.Used either soi 2 or Soi 7/8.

Breakfast used to be at Bob's u2 bar soi 8.

Think there was Irish bar Soi Cowboy run by older lady,did

a great free buffet Paddy's day.
