But not a good night sleep..... fire alarm at 01:30 in the morning!!!

I get loads of these arrive in my inbox........ this time I booked an overnight at the Marriott and 16 days parking at the hotel...... I KEEP THE  KEYS.....  10 minutes by hoppa bus to the airport

Never usually works ......... when the original owner dies !!!!

This has been so predictable for years....... you can't take away peoples freedoms..... China only exists by brutality..... the people may not win this time but ultimately they will

A business local to me was for sale at a million pounds freehold, been established 40 odd years with a national reputation...... the owner was selling because of his cancer...... the staff deliberately ran that business into the ground..... in the end it went bust, the staff bought it from the receiver for peanuts...... the original owner died a broken man within a couple of weeks 

If you use a debit card, you're now spending more than your daily withdrawal limit

or if you still want to use cash you'll need a separate suitcase

What possessed Scooters to think that was an ideal location. 100s if not 1000s could have told them it was a dead soi with tiny footfall.  I've not even seen any social media popping up over them come to that although assume they have some. Secrets survived the last 5,6,7 years without a decent manager, and an owner who had completely lost interest........ yet against all that the rent, bills and wages were being paid.

Scooters must have thought give it a bit of love, get a decent manager and it could be a goldmine again..... they've spent the money now need the decent manager

It was okay but the big downer for me was the fact that the internet in the room was terrible. We had to use Sai's phone as a "hot spot" so I could connect my lap top.

They advertise the rooms as having a flat screen TV which is incorrect. As it happens I did not take my media player but I would have been well pissed off if I had wanted to watch  the Gooners. On the other hand, as the internet was so poor I would not have been able to get connected anyway.

Food was  good and we loved eating on the tables on the beach. No mossies at all.

Drinks at the Hotel's beach Bar were reasonably priced.

The private beach got very busy during the day and by 10.00am all the sun beds had been taken. We just moved ourselves to the adjacent beach. The beds were not as comfortable but okay for us.

If you stay there make sure you book a room or bungalow on the beach side of the road. The "Hillside" rooms on the other side of the main drag are up a bloody steep hill.

In all honesty, I  would not go back to that particular hotel unless I was absolutely certain they had improved the internet. I need to log into the reservation system for an hour or two each day but if that is not a factor then it is not a bad location.

You will need your own transport to get around.

Does that mean you're continuing to run the hotel side...... great news for any newbies...... but hopefully they can do a refit to get you out into the reception area

3 out of my top 5 fucks have come from Koh Chang...... the earth moving out of this world ones

In my experience girls on Koh Chang give far better service than Pattaya girls...... they are not gogo quality but you won't find a starfish.... but they won't go with you if they don't want to 

Dao bar...... thinking about a change of scenery and staying in their rooms.....

any feedback on on the girls in the bar?
