Re the above.....if we use that last screenshot from Forest we'll assume TT is 36.90 this Saturday morning

£1000 via handing over the wad at the booth will give you 36900 obviously

Transferwise (which I use as well) will land in your account at 36755

    145 Baht more OTC

    £5000 at TT is 185,200

    £5000 via TW is 183,979

Its better to do the comparison weekdays. I'd be very surprised if TT is still 36.90 this Saturday morning as well

I noticed to that TW fee has gone up slightly as well or it has since I last used it

on the TT website the AUD  is currently at 20.46... a quick check of TW a transfer of $1000 gives me a rate of 20.68 after fee's.

It is a wee hairy beastie found only in the Highlands of Scotland and a much sort after delicacy.

Not easy to find as it is very adept at hiding in the Scotch mist.

Most Sassenach's don't like the taste but I love it washed down with a wee dram or two.

hahahahaha, I understood f**k all of that !

Unless I fly somewhere for work, I am hoping my next flight won't be until March 2021. Tripped planned as flying Brisbane to Sydney, cruise Sydney to Singapore, train Singapore to Chiang Mai, fly Chiang Mai to Udon Thani, drive Udon Thani to Pattaya and then finally fly Bangkok to Brisbane.

Hoping to just holiday locally for the next 18 months.

Good idea to avoid the USA, too many whack jobs with guns over there.

As I understand it, you can take the original purchase fee plus an allowance for annual appreciation, but the house has gone up in value far in excess of the small annual allowance. But anyway, I will just be releasing funds to live on. I understand the above comment about losing assets but like I said, none of us are here forever.

Thanks, never knew the profits from the sale of a house had to stay in country..... Another whacky Thailand rule/law !!
