There's a good local bus system in Da Nang that I used to sight see around the city. Cheap fares and interesting routes. Saves the feet a bit and if I remember right...air conditioned.
Yes there was. Unfortunately post Covid it has changed. The 2 main routes from the beach area don't run anymore.

The Buddhist holidays are always bar closure days.
Edit: Or more accurately - no alcohol sales days.
Yes, that is my thought to.

I will be returning to Pattaya from Vietnam on the 2nd of June. And am wondering if the 3rd will be a bar closure day for Visakha Bucha day. Any thoughts or is it to early to speculate.

Just a word of advice for those thinking of going to Danang. Whilst l likeit and go there regularly, just got back from a week there last Tuesday, it does not have a great night life. Great beach, yes, very cheap, yes, great night life, no. If you do go stay in the An Thoung tourist precint.

The Angel's Game (El juego del ángel, 2008) is a prequel to 2001's The Shadow of the Wind, by Spanish author Carlos Ruiz Zafón. The Angel's Game is set in Barcelona in the 1920s and 1930s and follows a young writer, David Martin.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Angel's_GameI liked that book back when I read it.

I've eaten what I know was crocodile in Australia where it tasted a bit like chicken. Just recently I had some crocodile in Vietnam where it tasted exactly like pork. I think they were taking advantage of the foreigner.

Ok. When I stay in Danang I stay by the beach. It is a long beach but as a tourist there is a 2km stretch which is where most people stay. The northern end is centered around Ha Bong street.
