Sad news indeed..... 
But it was a FANTASTIC run while it lasted. I was really hoping to bring my nephews over and show them where all those photos came from. It's truly the end of an era

You know I’d say...never say never...the world can all change within minutes, hours and few days... which we’ve all seen in recent days. The world will be different but that place could re-open Our world goes into these funny cycles, will we need a forum to get the attraction back in when social media may yet take a different turn who knows! By then us guys will too old to enjoy it...and still be thinking about the glory days 😂

I believe it has 24 rooms but I remember something about it ‘qualifying’ for a hotel! Technically it’s one room short when kept the prices of rent down etc. So at 1000baht a night x 24 room, 24,000b daily / 720,000b per month (£18,000 UK) revenue for the rooms excluding the cost of running the place. God damn it...and I was looking to get hold of the number for the hot receptionist I’ve been wanting to ask out for drinks/dinner

This explains why I was having trouble booking a room. Jeez it’s a real end of an era which is really sad. I know the hotel has been totally rammed with rooms booked out on my trips and that with the bar being open and closing during the scooters refit etc. But the hotel has always done really well.

Today it’s been quite a shattering day so I got home and pretty much went to sleep early after eating food which I know is the worst. Anyway I got up 5 hours later...warmed up to traditional Quaker Oats and having this to eat in the middle of the night...it was either this or beer so I took the healthier option 😀

I’ve downloaded a couple of musical instrument apps to my iPad and been trying to learn how to play classic 80s tunes on the piano....I’ve given up and hitting the beer

So I’ve been trying to work out how quiet is Pattaya right now because I could take advantage of this and have all the beautiful ladies to myself...but only to come back home with more than just a rash 😂 

Are we talking really quiet like last low season but even more dead with tourists not populating hotels and bars etc.

I’m also wondering if I can get a better deal with hotels being quite empty 

I’m trying to work out when to take a trip back out, balanced out with cost, my girlfriends who will be there or not and whether I have a likelyhood in getting this virus and will end up being off work for a few weeks or not.....Jeeez it shouldn’t be this difficult FFS

I think LePub should have a short time room above the bar. The motion of rocking the bed keeps the sign lit up. Hell there could be a competition in whoever rocks the bed long and keeps the sign illuminated gets a beer on the house for all the hard work!!! 🤣🤣🤣 (I’m laughing too hard right now)....there should then a leaderboard downstairs in the bar for bragging rights LOOOOL

If the people that own the building have taken it over then that will save them having any rent payment which will help tremendously. But I do agree with you regarding it being a terrible location without constant promotion which is what the Forum gave it

You and I once had a conversation not so long ago about that forum going and what the common denominator would be with the bar - you were right. It did well because of the forum and I know I’ll get shot down for living in the past but there was a lot of fun to be had in the bar - always. <Thumping my head against a wall> I used to love rocking up straight from my flight, shower, pop down stairs and pop right back up for a snooze with some company. I would never had discovered it without the forum.

It’s a damn shame that everytime I’ve wanted to be there when Scooters is open the place closes up - maybe that a sign.

As for another bar opening up...being fun...good luck!!! I’ll eat my words should this picture ever change.

I’m not going to google this but I’m certain the reason they put one in the bum *cheek is because it’s one of the largest muscles....correct me if I’m wrong.

Personally I’ve never had to experience this but do wonder which part of the cheek is classed as the cheek....top, middle or bottom 😅

I was planning to head into the bar on my last trip but it was when they had closed for what ever matters it was...I’ve forgotten now. Been meaning to check it out in person for a while now.
