Me neither although we spoke on the phone a couple of times as I recall regarding posts of mutual interest.
Code's posts unfortunately all too often gave one the impression that he was somebody that seemed to attract violence like a magnet. Most people, including me, spend a lifetime "generally" successfully trying to avoid conflict.
I remember Code making a post on the subject of the use of a pencil as a tactical weapon. I use a pencil to do the crossword in my Daily Record.
Thai Spice was a misogynistic drunk and a legend in his own mind.
I thought it was a fork?

The last line you quote says it all. "This is an epidemic among the unvaccinated" I know there will be some that cannot be vaccinated for whatever reason, but the rest have nobody to blame but themselves.

Stopped in the supermarket on the way home today (Morrisons), and considering masks are no longer mandatory by law anywhere, still the majority of people were wearing them in there.
f**k that, I'm never wearing one again!.
Called into my local Tesco's lunchtime. I was the only liberated mask free shopper, although none of the staff were wearing one.

I saw the same thing in Amsterdam. Sat one night people watching and the windows doing the most trade were those with the larger women, couldn't work it out. Still each to their own!

The issue in this case is not actually that somebody died in a RTA. It is the fact that the alleged perpetrator fled the country under the guise of diplomatic immunity rather than staying and being tried for the crime. Had that happened it may not even have made the national news even if the sentence on being found guilty was not actually prison time.

Well i popped in to my local Toyota dealer enquiring about the Fort GR4 and was given a brochure. I asked this very pretty young lady what they would give me (best offer) for my Fort parked outside, she went away then came back and said 200K !!!
I was surprised that was the best offer for my Fort considering i was buying a new Fort costing almost 1.9M.
I think if i go ahead with the purchase i'll sell my Fort privately as i'm convinced i can get more considering its condition then it will be a case of how much discount they will give me.
Watch this space lol
The price of second hand cars has gone through the roof in the UK due to the chip shortage.

They are brilliant series if detective fiction set in a historical background is the sort of read that appeals to you.
For me the first published in the series March Violets is the weakest but from thereon in, they are a fantastic read.
I'll give them a go.

Just packed a bag and I am off to the hospital to have a coronary angiogram. Back on Jan4th my GP found I had a heart murmur and I am being treated for angina. A c t scan has shown narrowing of the coronary arteries and todays procedure will show the extent of the problem. If they find anything they can act on there and then I believe they will give carry out an angioplasty to stretch the arteries or fit some stents. The butterflies are fluttering in my stomach, but I am so glad to have got to this stage without any further problems. I will update later when I know what has been done.
Good luck. I had a stent fitted 3 years ago after a heart attack, really easy op, nothing to stress about.

I am sure I do not have to tell you Matt, especially in good ol' LIberal Calif, and especially here where we live, parents are going "bonkers" about letting their kids get vaccinated for the 5-11 year old groups. I say this because coming home from the gym Sun afternoon, there were a bunch of parents on Camden Ave ( big street here) with signs saying "Stop the Insanity" " Do not let your kids get vaccinated, Gov't does not control our kids" and one said" This Vaccine will harm your children long term"
It is with sad regret that I have to tell you this, this was once a great state to live in, love it here really but.....there are far too many fucking idiots here now.
I can assure you it's not just there. Sadly the idiots are everywhere.

I've just spent a couple of weeks in Scotland. The place is wall to wall motorhomes. A real pain on Scottish roads.
