  1. Thanks! Booked an appointment. ...interesting, all his available times are from 9pm- Midnight every day except for Sundays only...no daytime appointments
  2. I would like to schedule an eye exam in Pattaya if anybody has a referral here in town. ... If there isn't a good one available here, I would be willing to schedule one in Bangkok and just make the drive there too. Thank you!
  3. Is the elimination of the Pre-Testing April 1st now signed into law? Does this apply to those who fly out March 31st, but land in Thailand April 1st?
  4. ...you're lucky. I'm on day #10 and wondering if my application has been sent to nowhere or dumped for review whenever. Not sure if I should be worried and/or need to go back and reapply
  5. …when does the pre-test requirement go away?
  6. ...I believe an isolated case (24hrs) IMHO: 'Thai' and 'customer service' should not be used in the same sentence , 😉
  7. lol, me too!!! I was tired of waiting to hear back so did that too 😉
  8. I still can't get the Thai Pass site to work #1 If I apply on Chrome, I understand I need to go to the Crome Store and download something: what is it? #2 How to I activate it? #3 Anything else I'm suppose to do other then use Chrome and start inputting the information on Thai Pass ?
  9. Well, I’m ocd and etc, So, I still iron my clothes. If I get laundry service, I still take it outta the bag and and iron out the creases. Back when I stayed at Secrets or W14, I would take my laundry around the corner and hang them on my own hangers, so not yo have creases. In my previous condos, I would set a timer and iron when half dry. I remember this really hot girl I wanted to smash text me that she was in Pattaya and had a little bit of time to meet at a short time room and I told her I was busy doing my laundry drying that was set on timer, lol. btw, anybody in Thailand use a product to keep clothes from stiffening up???
  10. are we still able to purchase sim card and plans at the airport when we land or are we whisked away to our shuttles?
  11. current official site to applying is not working now and hasn’t worked for the past couple of hours.
  12. Hello, So based on an email I got from the Thai Pass People, I went back onto the site to update information and noticed - Update : Saw a note on the site that a recent update has been done on their site - After inputting the information, I could not hit "Submit" as I continually received an : api server error just wanted to give everyone a heads up
  13. *How about if I leave all the living room windows open while I am gone 3-6 months? ...or could that be an issue with when it rains heavy & sideways??? *I am guessing that the timer for the A/C would be the best situation as it will cycle through the air??? *I don't think I will do the humidify unit....as I have no way to dump out the water while I am away??? thank you - Tommy Dee *I could get a friend to go in one day a month and slide open the windows and then come back 2-3 days later and close the windows. Would that work?
  14. So, every time I need to buy laundry soap, I never quite know what the heck I am buying. Trying to ask a Thai sales person at the store seems almost pointless. For those of you living currently in Thailand, could you share with pictures what brand you buy and what it is for: ie whites ? Colored ? etc... ...also do you use a separate softener to keep the clothes from turning into cardboard after it is dry Thank you!
  15. I appreciate the comment! I was curious as to if anybody was doing this in Thailand. Do you also store anything else in the fridge? ie Spices, open bag of chips etc???
  16. Yup, already read that, but pretty much ALL medications range are lower than the temp in a room in Thailand. …so just wonder for those of u living in thailand, are u storing your meds in a cooler or fridge?
  17. *I noticed that some of my medication gets a bit weird when I store it out in the open as the room is usually left vacant/un air conditioned most of the day. Would you consider or do you put your meds in the fridge when you are in Thailand? *When you are away from your residence for at least a couple of months, do you leave a window cracked while you are away? I see that some things can get moldy when the place is locked up a while with no moving air.
  18. I would prefer not to go into BKK to Fortune Town in order to buy my AV Receiver + speakers Does anyone know a place in Patts that sells: - AV Receiver + with: - 4k ports - 5.1 surround sound - plenty of HDMI ports in the back of the av Receiver - Name Brand - high wattage output * I can't just use a Standard Receiver, I need AV that is built for 4k use (audio + video) *Power Buy and Numchai do not sell "AV" and they seem to only/mainly carry off brand
  19. A lot of great suggestions! Will definitely discuss with the contractor! thx
  20. … u remember when Mr Egg thought covid was an over reaction and be done within 2 weeks along with others who didn’t expect it to last a couple of months. Well if 19 lasted this long…how long u figure on the floors based on what’s happened so far 😉
  21. Thanks for your feedback , much appreciated from a guy who can’t figure it out on his own nor able to make a decision, lol!
  22. Part #2 I need to select a lit mirror. The options are either: A. full lit mirror that wraps around in the front B. strip mirror C. back lit mirror mirrors already make a small space look larger, but a strip mirror will have a slightly more impact in this area below is the back lit mirror *One thing I forgot to mention earlier was that I have a peak a boo mirror in the bedroom that directly faces the walk-in shower. *The reason I bring this up is that both of the front lit mirrors may be a bit bright/in your face every time I have it on if someone is lying in bed/watching tv. *Small room - not sure how a front lit mirror will look with such a small bathroom. I am going to go to Bangkok and visit the Winmax Store and check out their selection of touch mirrors. It all depends on the operating system. . SINK I have two decisions to make with the sinks A. One Single Long sink basin B. Two separate sink basins *The plans are to use more boxy looking design TOWEL RACKS I need to decide where to place my towel racks and what type: A. Should I have a towel rack opposite side of the walk-in shower? ...if so which one? B. Should I have a towel rack above the toilet? ... if so which on? EXHAUST FAN: Do you have an exhaust fan in the bathroom? Do you think I should have one installed? CEILING FAN: Do you have a Fan in the bathroom? Should I install a fan in the bathroom? *additional notes: I will have a towel hooks behind the bathroom door I will have a slab installed just under the shower head
