Great restaurant that Kilkenny lol.
Who comes up with alcohol sales between 11 AM and 2 PM? Only in Thailand...
I think those have been the rules for some years, now. Certainly off-sales in the supermarkets, 7-11's etc stuck to those hours, although I can think of a few afternoon gogo's that didn't bother keeping to them.

Where is that happening, and on what scale?
At least one pub in South London (UK) is trying it, and I can vaguely remember hearing or seeing something about the Mayor of London pushing the idea.

Not contesting that E.V. may have a bit of future in the cities, but nationwide ?
The things are simply too expensive, and inconvenient for long trips. Not even speaking about the important loss of autonomy in cold weather and use of the heater. Plus the wipers.... its not like you never use those things in Brexitannia !
Of course in 10 y the technology will have improved, but still, dreaming of selling ONLY E.V. in 2030 is a mirage.
You may well be right, but I can see a future for hybrids outside the cities, and it's city driving with its constant stop/start that uses up much more fuel than on motorways or quiet country roars.
As for a complete ban, that does seem ambitious.

FFS, where is the charging network, just to start with ?
It's being implemented in London, now. Three charging stations have recently appeared within a tem minute walk of my place in SW19. and I saw one near Tower Bridge a couple of years ago.

Used to be one opposite the rear entrance of Royal Garden, sold ostrich etc, must be about 20 years ago ! Can’t recall the name, long gone I think.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkI think I remember the place you mean.
It had a swiss flag as its sign over the doorway.
I can't remember the name either, but I think it moved to Naklua when the rent got silly.

I applied for a new one on the 20th December.
They said it would take three weeks.
It arrived on the 4th January.
It's red without the EU logo, but that's very good service, given the christmas/new year break.

I've always had good service from Southall Travel and https://www.traveltrolley.co.uk/
Prices seem OK, and the one occasion I had a problem, it was sorted within 12 hours.

One of the reasons I got out of gogo bars was that I felt bad for the girls who had to dance for hours and hours on end. No matter what you’re getting paid.
I ask anyone to get in a pair of high heels and dance for the best part of 8 hours every day, even the best dancers in the world would get bored shitless.
Add to that the extortionate barfines, I found working there a chore.
Much prefer the beer bars. I have a concept for a bar that would show flesh, but the girls wouldn’t need to dance. Think it would be popular.
Anyway, sorry, back to Scooters.I have to agree about the heels - they must do a lot of damage in the long term to feet and ankles. However..... I've mentioned this to a number of strippers that I know i London ad the concensus seems to be that they like wearing them.
I like your concept - I look forward to seeing it happen - I could easily become a regular.

For me, that would be Plum Busby at the Hideaway in Streatham about three months ago. I've known the lead singer for longer than a lady would want to admit. Actually, they are good fun and well worth a visit if you can get there easily.. The Sunday Lunch is good, too.

They have already responded once via Auto receipt response and also a short live email after explaining the process going forward
Your way clearly is the way forward if as you say it leaves the first sector choice within the system and then you can choose the 2nd sector. Its a work around I agree nice one
We must hope it's only temporary.

Good luck with the rocket. I sincerely hope it produces results.
Somebody seems to have done a sloppy job on the database. Pissing off the customers can't make commercial sense.
I'm doing the same trip on Wednesday evening, and this seems to have worked for me:
1. 48 hours before the first flight, I started the check-in process and selected a seat.
2. I then closed the window without completing the check-in.
3. 48 hours before the second flight, I started the check-in process again. My original seat selection was still there, so I could select a seat for the onward flight and complete check-in.It's fiddly and a nuisance, but as a work-around, it mjght help someone else.

Hi gents.
After many reminders from Bazle, I've finally joined.
It was good to meet some of you at Le Pub last Sunday.
I'll chip in when I've got something worth saying
cheers

Flight booking, will you do anything different next time?

That seemed to be normal everywhere I have transitted - I guessed it was some international regulation to cope with flights arriving from less secure areas.
I've been waved past on a few occasions when a late arriving flight would have delayed the onward flight.
I wonder if this is just a Covid-19 thing or whether it's now permanent.
