That’s what happens when people don’t pay for music anymore, it’s how they make money.
I agree they should make money and gave payed up to £150 , but £250 is just greed .
People will pay it though so they don't care about me.
I was in Kingston last September watching Tears For Fears at a record company concert the tickets cost me £60 each.
I was in the queue with my son and we got to know a bunch of people .
Turns out one fella with his wife payed £400 each I nearly collapsed knowing what we got them for...

It's getting daft now.
I wanted to go and see Stevie Nicks in Manchester in June this year but the price put me off.
Tickets cost around £250 up to £404 for a seat!!!
Add on the cost of travelling from Sweden, hotel etc... Just not worth it.
You're right mate crazy money.
I think the new CoOp Live Arena is gonna take the complete piss with prices.
If they ever manage to sort their shit out and open.

I had a look this morning mate had a presale code and loads of seats were coming up at £250 (all dates sold now) Not a chance I was paying that.
Iv just booked my ticket to come to LOS on 30th Dec a day or two ago and iv manged to get a ticket for Foo Fighters at Old Trafford Cricket ground for £99 so he can go f*** himself at £250.
Crazy money now.
A shame , but...

Thanks for that. I can get my son to sign up for me and get the tickets but i have concerns. DG has this new album out and i just wonder how many PF songs will feature, wifey and i are fans of DG performing/singing PF songs and it would be a great disappointment if only a few if any PF songs feature.
I wonder if its possible to get access to the songs he's going to perform, not a chance in hell i'd imagine lol
The juries out i'm disappointed to say........
That was last time and there's a fair whack of PF on there.
I saw Roger Waters last year and he did loads of Floyd.

Magic, i wish i could make it. I love the RAH, its the best venue i've ever had the pleasure of going to on numerous occasions to see Eric Clapton and Cream. As you say DG is without a doubt a legend and genius. Pink Floyd is wifey's fav band and she really loves DG along with a few million other ladies lol
I'm going to try and get two tickets, if i can i'll take wifey back to the UK to see, she'll love me forever lol
Where are you hoping going to source your ticket ?
https://store-uk.davidgilmour.com/
If you sign up for pre sale access to tickets (click no purchase necessary on the cd) you'll get a pre access code the day the tickets go out , which means you can get them a day before general release.
I'm going to try for the Saturday date if you can get those .
If we're both successful and you do make it I'll meet up with you for a few beers if you're up for it before hand.
Edit :
where it asks country , I'd click U.K in case it won't let you do it in Thailand.
its not asking for an address if you follow the "no purchase necessary" just an e mail address.

Just been announced he's playing The Albert Hall in London 9th to 15th October .
Tickets on sale on Wednesday 100% I'll be trying for one.
Not many living legends left anymore , but he is one for sure.

I have the use of a Thai gardener that sorts my gaff out. He only speaks Thai and i don't so my wifey deals with him. He does a reasonable job but not really up to English standards but what he does is ok.
Wifey has just called him and he's willing to come out to your gaff and have a lookie and chat with you if you speak Thai or your wifey/GF if you don't.
His TEL number is 0857683220.
Pic of my garden and his maintenance work....
Nice place.

In most places I have to have a good pool ( reasonable size , that gets the sun most of the day ) , I like to chill out , listen to my music , swim some lengths, then float for a bit ... and generally recharge the batteries
the only place I'm not too concerned about it is in Bangkok as I am usually doing something during the day time , walking or doing some sightseeing ...
It's good in Bangkok if you get a roof pool always good as the sun's going down at night and you have the insanity of the night in front of you .

Always need a pool if I'm on holiday there I have rented houses without and even rooms without in the old days whilst living there and it drives me mad without.
Same as for me it's for cooling down its rare I lay in the sun though.

Probably their best song and 90s too.
Reminds me of an old friend who got addicted to smack in his teens and twenties . My lasting memory of him is singing this on a night out with us all and a couple of month later overdosing... Really fucking sad and the words made it even harder to bare at the time .
Sorry for hijacking such a good song.

Ok so since no one has talked about life in USA...let me weigh in. Has there been changes there? Of course, some for the better, some for the worse, just like Thailand. Like most Americans, I am disgusted about the illegal immigration going on, high housing prices, the rise in overall crime, traffic etc. Don't get me wrong, I like Thailand as a general rule, but...I am not going to bash Calif. I have always been able to filter the "noise" coming from the Political side of things. I have always said and still tell people when they ask me, at the end of the day, I am still American and will always love my country.
I still like Calif alot quite frankly, still have my home there, my Daughter is in Texas and my Son in Calif and for that reason alone, I will always want to be in USA at some point.
I have also told many people when they ask me about Thailand, that quite frankly Thailand absolutely has some things America will never have, on the flip side, America has things Thailand will NEVER have...for me the weather in Calif is second to none year around. I hate the air pollution here like everyone else, and the dreadful humidity takes a toll on me too. Yes Thailand is cheaper to live, but I don't think that in my opinion, that makes it necessarily better.
I certainly miss "sports" back home, I can no longer go to San Jose Giants Baseball games, no longer go see my old "alma mater" San Jose State play Football, can not see The San Jose Sharks play Hockey or go see The Golden State Warriors play Basketball anymore either. Wifey loves sports too, seeing it live, is so much better then on TV. These are just some of the things I miss from back home.
At the end of the day, we all have choices we have to make that works for us.....
I always thought you was one of the lucky ones living in Calif.
Best of both worlds if you ask me.
But the U.K has certainly changed for the worse in a lot of ways ..
Corrupt governments and dumb wars.
