I have the use of a Thai gardener that sorts my gaff out. He only speaks Thai and i don't so my wifey deals with him. He does a reasonable job but not really up to English standards but what he does is ok.

Wifey has just called him and he's willing to come out to your gaff and have a lookie and chat with you if you speak Thai or your wifey/GF if you don't.

    His TEL number is 0857683220.

Pic of my garden and his maintenance work....

In most places I have to have a good pool ( reasonable size , that gets the sun most of the day ) , I like to chill out , listen to my music , swim some lengths, then float for a bit ... and generally recharge the batteries

the only place I'm not too concerned about it is in Bangkok as I am usually doing something during the day time , walking or doing some sightseeing ...

It's good in Bangkok if you get a roof pool always good as the sun's going down at night and you have the insanity of the night in front of you .

Probably their best song and 90s too.

Reminds me of an old friend who got addicted to smack in his teens and twenties . My lasting memory of him is singing this on a night out with us all and a couple of month later overdosing... Really fucking sad and the words made it even harder to bare at the time .

Sorry for hijacking such a good song.

Ok so since no one has talked about life in USA...let me weigh in. Has there been changes there? Of course, some for the better, some for the worse, just like Thailand. Like most Americans, I am disgusted about the illegal immigration going on, high housing prices, the rise in overall crime, traffic etc. Don't get me wrong, I like Thailand as a general rule, but...I am not going to bash Calif. I have always been able to filter the "noise" coming from the Political side of things. I have always said and still tell people when they ask me, at the end of the day, I am still American and will always love my country.

I still like Calif alot quite frankly, still have my home there, my Daughter is in Texas and my Son in Calif and for that reason alone, I will always want to be in USA at some point.

I have also told many people when they ask me about Thailand, that quite frankly Thailand absolutely has some things America will never have, on the flip side, America has things Thailand will NEVER have...for me the weather in Calif is second to none year around. I hate the air pollution here like everyone else, and the dreadful humidity takes a toll on me too. Yes Thailand is cheaper to live, but I don't think that in my opinion, that makes it necessarily better.

I certainly miss "sports" back home, I can no longer go to San Jose Giants Baseball games, no longer go see my old "alma mater" San Jose State play Football, can not see The San Jose Sharks play Hockey or go see The Golden State Warriors play Basketball anymore either. Wifey loves sports too, seeing it live, is so much better then on TV. These are just some of the things I miss from back home.

At the end of the day, we all have choices we have to make that works for us.....

I always thought you was one of the lucky ones living in Calif.

Best of both worlds if you ask me.

But the U.K has certainly changed for the worse in a lot of ways ..

    Corrupt governments and dumb wars.

  5. Don't mind them if it's done properly.

    Like anything.

I draw the line at those fucking ridiculous lips though though that's more of a western thing.

Following on a bit, my biggest fashion disaster was in the 90's when I went out one night with a suede waistcoat, black shirt and blue jeans and a pair of cuban heels.

I looked a right c**t. Even my mates laughed at me and I ended up getting a taxi home to get changed! 🤣

It was my fault, I wanted a change of "look" and decided upon the worst possible combo.

Too many to choose from for.me..

Maybe a pair of Joe.Bloggs jeans around 88 big horrible over baggy things. The factory was on Bury New Rd near Strangeways in Manchester used to go there loads for different bits back then.

Edit: maybe check pants in the mid 90s with a pressed grandad shirt

Basically I pretty much buy alll my sports clothes from Castore online app. Only been around since 2016, and that was started by two young brothers along with Andy Murray who is a shareholder.

Started buying from them around 2017, and the only high profile client they had was Andy’s AMC clothing range. Now they supply England, South Africa, Kent and Surrey cricket teams, Newcastle, Aston Villa, Glasgow Rangers, Charlton and some other lower EFL teams, along with Harlequins rugby team.

Also official merchandise suppliers for Red Bull and McClaren F1 teams, and probably other clients I have forgotten.

Not cheap but it’s proper premium quality, and I know if I order medium I know it’s gonna fit perfectly.

I'll have a look at that.

    Cheers pal

Remember having a few bits from this brand back in the rave days.

    IMG_0055.jpeg

Was a couple of  brothers from Manchester who started that label of late 80s .

Was pretty big for a time had some decent bits .

Now all there is is JD buying everything up and cheapening it, factory made shite.

Kappa Sport Ski Jackets were also pretty popular iirc. I stuck to my Flight Jacket though, the colours didn't suit my pasty complexion lol.

Sure a lot of you will remember these things

Patrick Cagouls (they did adidas too) I think I had this originally in 83.

I bought this a couple of years ago on re-release off 80s Casual Classics.

The memory was fat better than the real thing (for me anyway 😂) think I've had it on twice.

I went to watch Richard Ashcroft outside last June it absolutely pissed down and I had this on I may as well have worn just a T shirt it was useless and not waterproof at all 😂🫣
