Not a chance, crazy behaviour. If I ran the visa rules for any country I’d make health insurance mandatory to obtain a visa, especially for old cunts.

Was my go to place for a great steak when I used to frequent Patts. Excellent food.
Went to that Bruno’s place once which used to get mentioned a lot on forums, food was decent enough but it was a bit too stuffy for me. This joint is better.

Free tix for tomorrow for anyone that can make it. Trent bridge is a great ground to visit https://peak5.secutix.com/pkpcontroller/wp/default/index_en.html?queue=q-nccc
Potential grand stand finish on the cards as well. Not dissimilar situation than when Stokes hit one of the best innings ever at headingly about 3 years back. I took a punt on getting a last minute ticket and saw one of the best innings and England wins ever.

I’ve got a companion voucher to use before next May. Problem is there doesn’t seem to be any reward flights available to the main destinations I’m interested for the dates I can go. A bit annoying really.

I put petrol in mine , that's as far as I go ...
Yup, that’s about it. I remember sticking water into overheating radiators 30 years back but wouldn’t touch them now.

I don’t mind stoksey being aggressive, he should keep it on the ground though and get the boundaries more safely in 4’s.

I left applying for mine as late as I dared. It may not be required by the time I fly.
The only observation which I would make is the fact that the Thai Pass (and for that matter any visa applied for via Thai Consulate in London) plus its predecessor the Certificate of Entry made sure that anyone entering Thailand had Covid Insurance.
It has long been an issue in Thailand that non Thai passport holders have incurred large hospital bills which have not been settled and if the Thailand Pass is abandoned there is no check on new entrants to Thailand having medical insurance, unless they insist on airline check ins and Thai Immigration checking for medical insurance at check in and on arrival.
All countries should make travel insurance mandatory as condition of entry (irrespective of covid). It’s insane the number of tight arses that travel without it.

I've use Google Flights to search for flights, but then book directly with the airline.
Seems decent 👍

Seems the consensus is to book direct following a review of process and options on Skyscanner..
Useful info and exercise. Thank you Gents.
I would have had no problem using well known agents before covid, but the whole moving/changing flights thing that was exposed over the last couple of years has shone a light on the whole process and it’s just simpler to deal with airlines direct if there are any issues.

I usually start my searches with Skyscanner and kayak and take it from there and more often than not end up booking directly with the airline given the challenges of the last couple of years. They feel more trustworthy than agents.
I got my arse burnt with opodo (who were previously decent when I used them a few years back) for a few hundred quid during covid so I am less trusting of middle agents these days, especially the ones I’ve never heard of.

Went to watch Nottingham play Derby in the T20 last night with a few mates from Derby. Hales went into absolute beast mode and scored 91 in no time to make mincemeat of the chase, was a sight to behold. Nearly got twatted by the ball on one 6 as well 🤣

I wonder how many of the thousand posts in this thread have been positive for England?
@Galenkia is usually pretty positive 😜

Ok.... I know the weather is possibly in our favour, but are Messrs Anderson and Broad sticking two fingers up at the previous management?
NZ 7 for 3 in 40 minutes.
Early season in England with swinging ball, it goes our way more often than not.

Enjoyed the job for a long time but it’s more of a grind now although I get very well paid. Would like to exit the corporate game within 5 years if I can and take a lower paid more chilled out job. Never been one that dreamed of retirement, happy to still do something…..

Don’t really follow footy too much, however the last couple of days here in Nottingham has been buzzing. People are really excited about promotion to the prem league, you can really feel the uplift it’s given the city.

Let’s not limit this thread to Pattaya/Thailand. This guy isn’t bad, a lot of South America stuff.

Would you risk being abroad (Thailand or Non EU Countries) without Medical Insurance?

They are basically just gambling that when the time comes they just drop dead versus a long prolonged illness and potentially nursing home care. Who the hell wants to take that risk. Complete madness.
