I know his wife- who we rarely saw but was great at holding the camera- is Thai, but what IS Mark? Mixed Asian-American?

Another guy who I haven’t tuned into but is now nearing 3M subs is PaoloInTokyo. Another success story, a Filipino Yank who moved to Japan for an IT job and is making really good money with his channels/merchandise. I think his wife studied in Minnesota, I used to think “damn she hardly has an accent for a Tokyo girl”. Their kid is almost 2 now, when I started watching they had no baby or marriage  license. Time flies….

If you like Japan vloggers this English guy is very good. Beware though he has very dry sarcastic British humour which doesn’t always translate well across the pond.

He was brought up in Arizona and is American but I think he mentioned having some Ukrainian heritage or similar.

He’s obviously not hurting for subscribers/views, but I think we both got sick of the sideways head tilt when the food was tasty…..

But even if I haven’t watched him in a while,  have to give the man his due…..probably went from an average nobody 6-7 years ago to just making food videos and accumulating huge wealth

King of Thailand vloggers no doubt, nobody else even comes close, on a different level subscriber and views wise than everyone else by a considerable margin and no doubt very well off.

I couldn’t do it because some of the shit he eats is genuinely shit and I’d probably throw up, he even loves pla ra ffs 🤣🤣🤣

Paddy Doyle , after visiting all of the provinces, he is now doing a best of series , probably the vlogger I have followed for the longest , most of them annoy me after a while and I unsubscribe ..

Same here, I watch about 4 or 5 Thai ones but I’ve watched him the longest. Watched mark weins for quite a few years but am a bit bored of him now.

Inflation going up, now more pain with an interest rate rise.

This is shaping up to be quite a rough ride in the coming 12 months I think. I think more rate rises are on the horizon, the Govt weren't totally hammered in the local elections so they probably think they're ok for the time being. Cabinet reshuffle in a couple of months, might be saying goodbye to Rishi or Priti , not that it'll make any difference.

It's easy to notice the cost of some foods increasing in the supermarkets. 2 Chicken fillets (pre packed) were £2.10 a while back, they're now £2.85, that along with milk, butter, pork etc means for some, tough choices need to be made. Lucky we're in summer, God alone knows what'll happen in the winter when we need to heat our homes.

    A change of govt isn’t changing inflation…..

Good gig mate, mixture of songs over his career. Played the well known songs like 'Cars' and 'We Are Glass' near the end. Last song was 'Are Friends Electric'.

Got Geoff Tate on Wednesday at Camden Underworld, then Quireboys are doing a set with an orchestra at Kentish Town Forum on the 21st. After that is a poison and Motley Crue tribute band night at Sub89 in Reading in July.

Quireboys, fucking hell. I saw them when I was a student in London about 30 years ago!

Cheers mate, but it fucks me off being judged on your past not the person you are now. Last conviction was in 1996. Yeah, it's how things are nowadays. Don't make it easier to deal with. Makes me wonder why I should make the effort. Always had problems with mental health but things like this just makes things worse.

Seems super harsh, OK 5 years fair enough and 10 years at a stretch. But 25+ years later WTF?
