I’ve had two people this past month ask me details of the legal boxes I use (TrueID) as they are bored of Premier League matches getting buffering.
How much is True per month for football?

I'm back in the park with the PT on Monday evening, helps keep me sane, and he's cheap.
Personal tranny?
Not very nice calling him cheap like.
As long as you keep your business in the park I guess you're not hurting anyone.

Not likely as my name was a version of "Dan" and although I did state I entered a telephone number I didn't state it was my telephone number. 🙂
Mae Sot mentioned in the news here as a potentially new Covid hot spot. Makes you think twice about what happened in that mall...

Here on the dark side the bars around the lake were visibly busy and doing a good trade. I only had a couple pints at the Oasis myself as I had gotten smashed with the neighbors on Friday already.
Like Boydeste said everyone's been locked up for so long it's no surprise town was busy-ish. You can also expect folks from Bangkok to have come down for a wee party.

It would make complete sense to open a nightclub in the Buakhao/LK area with the amount of bars and footfall from hotels etc. I remember Simon of the Retox was trying to get investors together to open a nightclub before he did a moonlight
As Friends on LK is meant to be a nightclub.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand’s resort island of Phuket is planning private coronavirus vaccinations for 250,000 residents in the hope the government will allow it to fully reopen to foreign tourists by October and save its battered economy, industry officials said.
Slideshow ( 2 images )
“The people of Phuket are losing hope,” Phuket Tourism Association President, Bhummikitti Ruktaengam said, adding that the island’s economy was at its lowest point in recent history.
About 10.5 million of the nearly 40 million foreign visitors to Thailand in 2019 visited Phuket.
The Southeast Asian nation had only 6.7 million arrivals nationwide last year due to its coronavirus border closures.
Foreign tourism revenue in Phuket dropped 78% to 87.5 million baht ($2.92 million) in 2020 with 2.1 million arrivals.
At least 10 Phuket industry associations including hotel, tourism and chambers of commerce have agreed to pool resources to procure vaccines and inoculate at least 70% of the island to create sufficient immunity by Oct. 1 to receive tourists.
Phuket’s population is at least 400,000 and the private vaccination drive would cover most adults before a nationwide government immunisation programme for the public starts in June.
“We are in talks with three major hospital networks to procure AstraZeneca and Sinovac vaccines,” Bhummikitti said, declining to provide details.
He also argued foreign tourists vaccinated abroad should not have to undergo quarantine.
“They have immunity, we will have immunity,” he said. “We talk to each other through masks. The logic works.”
Others in Thailand agreed.
Quarantine should be relaxed or eliminated for vaccinated foreigners, chief strategy officer hotel operator Minor International Pcl, Chaiyapat Paitoon told a panel discussion.
Tourism Authority of Thailand governor Yuthasak Supasorn, said a “vaccine passport” was being discussed by the country’s coronavirus taskforce.
Thailand, which has recorded 21,249 coronavirus infections and 79 fatalities, will largely use 61 million locally made doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine for its immunisation drive and will use a limited number of imported ones in the early stages.
Wishful thinking I reckon.

Can anyone recco a decent wine that is available in Thailand through the major suppliers in all major cities ? I obviously don't want to pay more than i have to and i'm no expert so don't need a top quality wine, just something i find agreeable red and white.
TIA
There's little consistency apart from Mont Clair and Jacobs Creek I reckon. Perhaps if you have a Tops nearby they'll have more choice.
Have you downloaded the Vivini app? You can take a picture if the wine bottle and you'll get a rating which is usually pretty accurate.

Worrying news for lefties and sofa screamers. It appears the vaccine is responsible for a massive drop in the rate of infection in Israel.
Showing signs of working.
Shouldn't it just work?

I hope for barowners in central and south Pattaya they start venturing over from the darkside. It doesn't look like the current entrance restrictions into Thailand will be eased this year. It's going to get brutal.
Plenty of decent, well-run dark side bars desperately need custom too. I'll go into town to support the likes of Alex and Adam, but wouldn't leave the DS otherwise.
