Nee cases still low in Chonburi with only 4 in Banglamung. 

As a restaurant you typically like to be top of the list, but not this list I imagine. Funny how they got the Soi wrong though..

Yeah it's OK and not that much more expensive than in Europe I guess. 

I don't go out at all these days for obvious reasons so spending a few extra quid on decent wine won't break the bank and is a bit of a treat to myself.

Today 0 new cases reported for Banglamung. The 18 cases in Sri Racha are linked to a local brewery. 

There's a press conference scheduled in 15 mins by the governor of Chonburi. Fingers crossed it will contain some good news.

Could be but it won't change a thing here. The Thais are not going to let people in en mass just because they've relaxed the lockdowns in Europe and the US.

Which northern summer months are you referring to? 

It could be 40 degrees in Europe with everyone vaccinated, but as long as Thais aren't all vaccinated forget about tourism returning here. 

Hopefully local tourism will be allowed again soon although that won't save central Pattaya I'm afraid.

Pakarathorn did say that there were many checkpoints throughout Chonbur between districts, especially overnight, but these were checking things like temperature checks and utilizing a Thai tracing platform like Mor Chana.

Cool, I don't usually drive at night anyway. 

I drove around town today and was expecting checkpoints but saw none. They clearly didn't last long.

Yes happened a couple days ago at 07.30 AMish. Incredibly sad, especially since loads with witnesses stood by and did nothing.

Are ethnics more likely to die from it, or are more ethnics dying from it because they don't follow the rules as much? I'm not aware of any genetic predisposition regarding covid.
