So, scrap meat.... mmmmmmm
I know -it's manufacturing process is disgusting (similar to hot dog process). But Scrapple is absolutely spiced superbly and a very, very tasty breakfast treat. When I mean "treat" it's not an everyday thing as 6 out of 7 days a week I usually a eat banana and bran cereal for breakfast.

One thing I miss on occasion with my breakfasts in the LOS is "Scrapple".
Rapa is the best brand. Slice it fry it and you have a delicious side for your breakfast.

It's very popular where I come from.

I love the fact that I am healthy today. I will 58 in a couple of weeks and most of the people I grew up with look like either hammered dog shit or they have been smoking meth for the last 20 years.

Unfortunately Musk is only saying what the majority of Western people think of foreigners living in Thailand. They are of course wrong.

If you want to learn more, use this site http://www.thai-language.com/dict - It is the most accurate free site I have found. It even has a sound option for most words and phrases where you can listen to it spoken.
Side Note: Google Translate is absolute shit for learning Thai.

Learning Thai is a hobby of mine. I have spent the last 15 years learning as much as I can own my own and through Thai Language.com, videos, etc. I know about 2000+ words. Now that I have built up my vocabulary, my work in progress for the past couple of years is to migrate to the usage of more sentences using my vocabulary. I understand about 30-40% of the conversations between Thais (more than I can speak). It's especially fun to eaves drop in bars, baht buses, etc. when they are talking. But when I go upcountry in Isaan, it all goes out the window. But, I am starting to learn a few Isaan Lao words and phrases.
I am a far cry from fluent with Thai. The two farangs that have impressed me with their fluency are BM Nampla and Sinclair. Mr. Egg (Phil) is pretty damn good as well. Sinclair is a linguist and speaks 6 languages fluently. He can even hold his own with Issan Lao.
My favorite Thai phrase is "ja baa raaw?" (Are you out of your mind/crazy) which always turns heads and gets a laugh outta the Thais.
My favorite Isaan Lao phrase is "saep lai lai" (Very delicious!) That turns some heads as well.
I am not stopping this quest until I am fluent.

Just to know many's a Thai girl who had this as her ring tone
That song was huge back in 2011 in the LOS. Many TGs seem to have a fascination with Rihanna. Adele's "Someone like You" was extremely popular as well in 2011-12 in Thailand.

I really love the toilets and and "She Sells Sanctuary" by The Cult is on the playlist. The girls are friendly and not pushy. I really enjoy every visit, especially when young Phil is in the house.

I drive all of 6 miles a day avg. I have a 2005 Honda Accord with 52,000 give or take miles on it. It's paid off and still has about 200,000+ miles to go. It's in pristine condition. I am fucked if I get hit by some dumb shit with the blue book value. I am not really a car person and hate driving.

I don't even notice them half the time on the girls. I even have a Sak Yant tattoo I got at Wat Bang Phra (Best place to get one in the LOS) on my back. I have a large tiger on my shoulder done by some master artist in Phuket years ago. I may get more. I really don't give a shit at 58 years old TBH.

EVA and ANA
ANA is great. They have bumped me up to 1st class once and business twice. I emailed them a thank you letter after the first bump and I think I must be on some kind of list of people who deserve it or just plain luck. But either way, I enjoy ANA and every aspect about the airline.
