As you will expect,  I love travelling around and exploring new places and meeting new ladies.

I treat the day of travel as a loss, but often arrange a visitor on arrival to help me settle in and try to be tolerant of assholes.

Usually I down load something of interest to watch which makes the day go quicker.

    Long may it last.

I dunno, but I think you like packing best.

I enjoy travelling but I now enjoy being in places for longer  , on this trip I did ten days in Patts and now currently two weeks in Samui  ... that said I do find I'm getting more easily pissed off ...

inconsiderate / rude people top the list , whether it's people reserving sun beds by leaving objects on them and then fcuking off for hours , people not acknowledging you when you step aside to let them through on a small pavement or you keep open a door for them .. and my top hate cnuts watching videos on their phones and not using ear buds , in restaurants/ by the pool / airport waiting lounges

Maybe I should have posted in the rant threads ...555

True, one of my pet peeves, people hijacking threads going on rants ... wait a minute.

Spending $7million on a SuperBowl advert or helping the needy ...  the churches obviously have too much money , tax them

Many people tend to think of richest person in the world as someone like Musk, Bezos, etc.

I think that If it's not Putin then it might be the Pope, at least the Catholic church any way.

  4. As the Super Bowl was winding down, there was some commercial that zipped by the screen which as far as I could tell was something about; he gets us.

I wasn't paying enough attention but I thought it was something religious related, about Jesus or something like that.

Suddenly one of the guys at the table I was at made a comment of how quickly feminism/#MeToo, etc., was replaced by multi-genders anyone can be a woman, we can't define a woman.

He said it might be because the MeToo lobby finally realized that to old farts # doesn't mean hashtag but rather pound.

lol, never thought of it that way, but makes some sense and now I cannot stop thinking of it that way.

I have been told for many years, at least in USA, that the mark up on alcohol is pretty profitable.

That's my understanding as well. A couple of friends in the bar business in Thailand that also serve food have told me that they could give away the food and that the booze most customers go through while eating more than makes up for it.

In other words, for these guys any way, the food is a loss leader and device to keep folks drinking in the place.

Same fellows say that often in Thailand the difference between a money making or losing operation is the landlord and lease arrangements.

Don't give a hoot where people lived, or that their grandad taught gun safety, etc., or whatever. Never cared for taking the life of another creature, personally (and don't give me that canned response "well you eat meat, don't cha, blah blah blah).

That Stingray looks "pimped up", not original. Only a complete fool would pay that asking price.

    Different strokes different folks.

I grieve for the sentient lettuce though.

Yeah, wouldn't pay near that asking price and it does look tarted up. I would pay up to $1000 for a good survivor if I could find one near me. I think it'd be a nice living room conversation piece, but then I keep a restored 1972 Honda Mini trail 50cc there as it is. Still miss my Heathkit ...

Had me a Crossman (gas power). Everyone else had Daisy pumps.

Thing actually helped me learn about guns and how deadly they can be (even a bb gun). Taught me the understanding of how terrible it is to take the life of another creature.

In the sticks where I grew up; hunting is a way of life. Our credo was more or less don't brandish a weapon unless you are prepared to use it; shoot to kill, and eat what you kill. Everyone I grew up with was taught how to use weapons about the same time they started riding bicycles without training wheels. It's still that way today.

But back to childhood toys, still my favorite bicycle and they can bring thousands these days for survivors in good condition. The below Schwinn Stingray is on offer on ebay for $4795.

What is it, is it electric? We had a soccer game called subbuteo which had a similar look but definitely not electric - flick to kick. Oh and a much bigger playing field.

Yeah, electric. They vibrated their way across the table.

Just viewed steady Eddy's live stream from Udon.

He actually said he was repetitive (2 times!)

Then went onto say the city centre was bland. 6 feckin times.

There's an Aussie comedian named Chris Widdows that goes by Steady Eddy because he has cerebral palsy. Hats off to him, doesn't play victim but uses the disability as an aide to his act.

As a die hard Raider fan, so do I. And they are playing in the Raiders house on their field! I live here in Vegas, the stadium is about 8 miles from my house and the tourists, celebrities and tv people are all over the place. I went to a few bars in the downtown Fremont Street area last Saturday and at one, a pint of Dos Equis draft was $14 USD!

Needless to say, I don't go out much to drink in this particular Sin City. I much prefer Sin City Far East for such activities.

Yeah, I feel your pain. It's not 2X but a mate recently turned me onto a place in Thong Lor, Old English or something like that with 45 Baht Leo pints.

Lol. The old bulldog had a lot of good ones in him.

Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.
