Well we got a "Bike Porn" thread which i have to say is brill imo so why not have a car one as well. This British made TVR Tuscan was/is imo an absolute beauty, it was launched in 2000 with a list price of circa 40K GBP and to acquire an excellent condition one today will set you back in excess of 30K GBP. In its day it was a real head turner and the exhaust sound was far better than any stereo sound system you might want to hear, most owners chose the exhaust lol

I don't quite know why i did'nt get one when i retired and had all the time to play around/enjoy one, it was capable of 180mph if ya had the balls to do it. Like all TVR's it had a bad rep for reliability but to the fervent owners that was a price worth paying to own and drive such a beauty at a relatively affordable price. If i was living in the UK now i would get one as a last throw of the dice.

I drove one of these back in the day, loved it, no TC or ABS though, proper drivers car

  2. Awesome car R8 love em but pricey ehh but ya get what ya pay for. I never appreciated how good Audi's were until i got a TT when they first came out, i'd always been a Merc or BMW man. I loved driving the TT 225bhp and the interior was superb imo.

Yeh, you can't be an Audi interior. The TTRS is a bit special.... R8s are great value at the moment but still a lot of money...

For me, it didn't get better than the bikes I owned. The gixxer was unreal! 178 bhp it weighed 165kg. Capable of 0-62mph in 2.35 seconds. The mighty K5 1000.

Loved my fireblade too. A bit tamer but you were in control. Silky smooth ride. The gixxer was like riding a bull, you fought to control the power.

Great bikes. Lethal in the wrong hands.

  6. Hi guys,

Visited Thailand first in 1990. Been a regular visitor ever since.

I live in the UK, long term plan is to be in Thailand during our winter months, then go home to regain my sanity during our summers...

Thailand is certainly a very different place to what it was in 1990 but I still enjoy my visits and try not to compare to the good old days....
