It's only in the last few years that it has become a tipple of choice.

Well, he got his 15 mins there.

The speed of it hitting the water after the collision surprised me. Just a few seconds.

^ Yes got that.
I think it does not like my hotmail email address
It says something about "disposable" email addresses.

Shuggy, I got your message, so my email address must be current. Maybe the problem is the "hotmail" address.
My board name on Addicts is Lantern, same as here.

If you can't get into your Addicts account message me here and i can reset passwords manually.
Well I tried the "contact us" link and explained that the original email that I used to join is no longer available due to my retirement. Bryan sent me a new password but I'm still going round in circles when I try to get in.

I have the same problem with Magpies.

ATM I'm driving one of these. It runs a 4L straight six, using the Ford Barra motor, seemingly almost indestructible in it's standard format, but possible to give it heaps more with a few mods. TBH it's not bad straight off the shelf.

So you must know Rossendale well then. Holland pies are still up in Baxenden.
I do. I lived in Ramsbottom and went past Hollands everyday going to and from school. BRGS.
I contacted Hollands about twenty years ago asking if they imported anything to Australia. (loved their steak & kidney puds and the cheese and onion pies) The exec I corresponded with told me he had been in Byron Bay (about 70klms from me now) a few months before on holiday.

That beer is strong. 5.8%
When Thomas Cooper made it he intended for it to be poured into a glass of crushed ice, which would not only cool it, but also dilute it to a more sensible alcohol by volume amount.
They also make a green one @ 4.5% and an orange one @ 3.5%

Not important even though I will use one every other day.
Many trips ago a friend stayed at LK Renaissance in Soi Diana. We went to the pool. Now I just walk in, and knowing where to go, just go straight to the pool. No one has ever bothered me.

Consider myself lucky to have found Canterbury Tales during a walkabout on my first trip to Patts in 2007. Ended up having the 99Baht breakfast most mornings.
Thought Dave and I got on reasonably well so stayed there a number of times on future trips. Had the room next to the Triangle bar, so luckily I can sleep through most things. Even the singing out of key.
Did eat at Crazy Daves a couple of times. The Rhubarb and Custard was a flash back to my youth in the North of the UK, and of course "Only Fools and Horses" was one of the best UK comedy shows made.
Thought a few times, when looking up or down Soi Chiyapoon, you could spend the entire holiday on this Soi and never have to venture to any other part of Pattaya.

^ I had a dog in the UK that would eat marijuana leaves.

I'm sure there is a Mustang somewhere that would suit me.

^ I did my XL250, here in Northern NSW bout 35 years ago and it was great.
You won't regret it.

^Do yourself a big favour with the seat. Get it recovered in white. It keeps it a lot cooler and you don't burn your legs every time you get on.

OK, that sounds like it's up that big hill with the statue of that naval bloke with the fancy hat.
It was the style of carving that originally gave me a clue.

Sanctuary of Truth?

I had two. Regular and the diver. Remember making a large, compartmentalised box to house everything. Also made a large tent for them.
Wouldn't have been my favourite toy though, that would have had to be my bike.

^Certainly could have been a whole lot worse.

Ahhh Another fella who's had the pleasure of Lucas sealed beam units, they were bloody woeful weren't they lol.
I had them on my mark one escort, I did consider replacing them with a candle in each glass for better vision at night!.
I also had a Mk1 Escort. Had to fit a set of spotlights, even though most of my driving was in Leeds.

I could be a little sympathetic to safety improvements though. Say, disk brakes all round etc. or getting rid of Lucas "prince of darkness" electrics.
