If you can't get into your Addicts account message me here and i can reset passwords manually.

Well I tried the "contact us" link and explained that the original email that I used to join is no longer available due to my retirement. Bryan sent me a new password but I'm still going round in circles when I try to get in.

  2. ATM I'm driving one of these. It runs a 4L straight six, using the Ford Barra motor, seemingly almost indestructible in it's standard format, but possible to give it heaps more with a few mods. TBH it's not bad straight off the shelf.

So you must know Rossendale well then. Holland pies are still up in Baxenden.

I do. I lived in Ramsbottom and went past Hollands everyday going to and from school. BRGS.

I contacted Hollands about twenty years ago asking if they imported anything to Australia. (loved their steak & kidney puds and the cheese and onion pies) The exec I corresponded with told me he had been in Byron Bay (about 70klms from me now) a few months before on holiday.

I noticed this one in Friendship, it was the last bottle so I thought I'd give it a try. Apparently, Coopers is a well-established brewery from Adelaide. Not really my cup of tea, to be honest, a bit same-same.

    That beer is strong. 5.8%

When Thomas Cooper made it he intended for it to be poured into a glass of crushed ice, which would not only cool it, but also dilute it to a more sensible alcohol by volume amount.

They also make a green one @ 4.5% and an orange one @ 3.5%

  5. Consider myself lucky to have found Canterbury Tales during a walkabout on my first trip to Patts in 2007. Ended up having the 99Baht breakfast most mornings.

Thought Dave and I got on reasonably well so stayed there a number of times on future trips. Had the room next to the Triangle bar, so luckily I can sleep through most things. Even the singing out of key.

Did eat at Crazy Daves a couple of times. The Rhubarb and Custard was a flash back to my youth in the North of the UK, and of course "Only Fools and Horses" was one of the best UK comedy shows made.

Thought a few times, when looking up or down Soi Chiyapoon, you could spend the entire holiday on this Soi and never have to venture to any other part of Pattaya.
