    Those guys, or similar, used to go around in a pickup making guttering and down piping for houses made from zinc or galvanised plate. It was usually a family affair, with the wife and grandpa joining in as well. I can see the little brazier for heating up the soldering irons. They usually did a whole house in less than a day.

    With all the farang ghetto estates going up since 2000, they usually had plenty of work on their hands.

     

    Stainless steel is what these were made of.
