In that case those Unions failed and should take a look across the Atlantic, most European Unions understand that part of their job is to make sure the members have a job.

You obviously don't have a clue hat the Unions ahve done to the US manufacturing industry.

The bean counters, politicians, techies destroyed the manufacturing base. Driving through various parts of the Midwest you could see shut down plants of all sorts - "The Rust Belt"

Dont forgett he Unions who drove costs up that made them not competitive.

I have a 55 inch LG 4K it's great for watching movies sporting events and such but those cheap 32-in TVs for the resolution I need for my PCS works well for me

I have "Naked cable" and I do not get any TV channels, so I watch NFL football in 4K resolution over the net, and its great.

About a year ago I bought a 32 inch flat screen TV on lazada for about $95 it was some company out of China it arrived and all the box said was 32-in TV. It was just about exactly a year ago it still works fine but I'm now running two different PC so I needed 2 HDMI inputs on a TV and the one I bought last year only had one. So I went on Lazada looking for another basic 32-in digital flat screen TV the only real requirement was 2 HDMI inputs.

Well I came across another generic one called expose that's the brand name. This TV had two HDMI inputs to USB inputs audio video jacks more than I needed. The price now was $70 US. It works perfectly as a monitor for my two PCS if you're looking for a cheap monitor for your garage or your office just something to drive your PC in my opinion this is perfect 2100 baht. It's also full 1080p not 4K but what can you expect for 70 bucks. The video is very good from my computers I can't say about the TV itself because I don't have it connected to any cable devices such as true or sophan as I don't use them

A couple of years ago, I went to 4K and the monitors were ridiculously expensive, about $1,000.

So I bought a 50 inch 4K TV for about $400 and it works great.

We must be different, when I rub my genie, I forget about football.

Yeah, but it is a Qb league as evidenced by Houston's first play of that game when Stroud effortlessly threw one 65 yards on a rope for a TD. You couldn't have handed the ball to the receiver in any better position.

I agree. Why pass? the chances of a completion are 70% at best.

The reason, I could take the wife, no sexy shows except for coyote dancers (I think that's what you call them). Wife felt comfortable as nothing was going on, no nude dancers, no seedy guys playing with girls, seemed well run with professional staff attending. Mamasans chatted to us regularly.

Maybe some would disagree with what I have said but I can only go by what I saw.

I understand all of that of course, but that was not what I thought the bar would be when explained to me.

As much as I dislike Ben's ethics I admit he was a marketing genius - He took a unfavorable location with an outlier business plan and made it work for many years.

I first visited the bar by luck, just was passing by on way to Walking Street. Never knew about a forum attached, just was an OK place to go and feel comfortable with my wife. I came back a few times because, again, it was a place that I could go with the wife.

Never felt it was a full on go go bar, just a good place to drink and listen to good music. Seemed to be well run and I never felt insecure for me when with the wife which is not the case with some establishments.

I never did understand the exact5ly what it was. was it s go go? No sexy shows so no.

I met Ben at Bruce's condo while it was in the planning stages and it seemed to me it was to be similar to FLB with food and rooms but that did not happen.

My cardiologist would not let me stop them for the operation, so the cardio thoracic surgeon warned me of the high risk of dying on the table, or the certainty of losing my legs and other vital organs if I declined to have the operation.

I totally understand and I through that thought process every day. My Cardio Doc insists that I take a Plavix every day, but that vastly increases my chances of dying due to a accident or even an emergency operation as there is no way to stop the bleeding.

My last heart attack was 8 years ago, so I now take Plavix 3 times a week plus baby aspirin and pray...

I buy 300 mg Dispersible Aspirin and break them into 4x 75mg for daily use.
Still here, although I do bleed like a stuck pig when I cut myself.

I buy a huge jar of 81mg baby aspirin for almost nothing and then I don't have to cut any into smaller doses.

I did ask her about that, as it wouldn't be much of a problem seeing as I take a Vit B, C and D each day plus a 50 mg Zinc. She said I could do that although the data was inconclusive, to use her words. I'll see how it goes. Is St. Joseph's Baby Aspirin even produced anymore? I'll have to check next time I'm in a Walgreens or CVS.

She did say the major thing was diet and exercise as a precaution to preventing another clot from forming. Of course, those two factors seem to be the pathway to improving one's health for just about any concern or malady, so I'm taking vigorous walks about 6 days a week for 37-40 minutes and including more fruits, fish and chicken in my diet, although a good steak or cheeseburger will be on tap from time to time.

My main thing was to be able to resume my travels. It was the biggest reason for my retiring when I did, and missing out during this time of the year is tough, but there will be future opportunities to scratch that travel itch soon enough.

No problem getting it and its almost free in he US.

I also take blood thinners, but there is  danger using them. If you re in an accident or need emergency surgery, they will not operate on you for a few days until the blood will coagulate.

I was in severs pain for 3 days until they would operate on me a couple of years ago.

  11. Two years ago I ordered a Ford Maverick hybrid. The wait was a bit over 1 year and I was offered 8K by the dealer to walk away form the delivery. It has been 1 year and I have 22K on the odometer and I have been offered 2K more than the purchase price.

I do agree with your point. But i think we are looking forward to an age with better health lifestyles and healthcare. My father lived very well until an accident at 85. I feel an additional 10 to 15 years on that generation may be normal. But we can't know yet.

Nobody knows that. My sister who is 3 years older just died.

Nobody in the family thought she would be the first.

104 is a great target. Earlier this year i raised my planning from 80 to 100, to be honest I'm not sure what to do with all the extra time.

    I disagree.

JetBlue plane tilts back while unloading at JFK Airport, no injuries reported

    https://edition.cnn.com/travel/article/jetblue-plane-tipped-jfk/index.html

A JetBlue passenger jet lost its balance and tipped like a seesaw while unloading Sunday at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, according to the airline.

“Once at the gate, due to a shift in weight and balance during deplaning, the tail of the aircraft tipped backward causing the nose of the aircraft to lift up and eventually return back down,” JetBlue told CNN.

Nobody was injured in the incident, JetBlue Airways said.

The aircraft’s nose in the air and front landing gear are seen hanging while the plane is parked at a jet bridge, in video posted online. At least one opened cargo door in the front half of the plane can be seen.

JetBlue is “reviewing this incident” and the plane will be inspected before flying again, the airline said...

It can happen a lot. Some commuter airplanes have a rod they put under the tail to stop that from happening.

    What beautiful restored cars!

Somebody spent a fortune making them look lid they just came of the assembly line in 1967, and then put on cheap rims and tires.
