If he loses now it will be the choke of the century.

Aside from the record breaking score, I thought the most incredible thing was how unfazed he was by playing with Tiger and the vast crowds following their 3 ball, 99% of whom would have been hoping he was going to screw up and a few New Yorkers telling him so.

He just seemed totally oblivious to it.

It would take the weather turning to stop him.  I laid off part of my punt to get my stake back at odds on yesterday, cause I've seen so many weird things happening in sport- just can't his temper letting him down.

  2. PGA tour website leaderboard seem to be a hole behind- very poor. Am watching live but it's annoying as I'd like to know how some outside of the top 10 are doing.

Gone for Rose and Xander , Koepka was 9-1 when I looked yesterday thought those odds were two tight for me

I couldn't bring myself to back a golfer ew at a single figure price- even if you are getting 10 places, so many things can go wrong so quickly!

  4. Anyone have an interest in the USPGA starts tomorrow.

Voting with my heart going for players I've enjoyed watching this year- starting with the very obvious Woods at 13.0, Koepka 12.0 , slightly more adventurous Schuaffle at 29.0 and a wild speculation on Harding at 201.00 all paying to 10 places.

Have seen a few experts go for Johnson, just not a fan of his- so he'll probably to it🙁

  5. I feel for him, as illness can hit any of us- as the last line in the OP's post says, perhaps compulsory insurance is the way forward.

However a former bookie, no excuse for his stupidity. He'll have had a lifetime of experience of punters making daft decisions and losing cash to him that they could ill afford to.

    Barton?

    He must've been joking.

Barton and Warburton had a big fall out at Rangers sure, Barton suspended, never played another game.

Fooled again- it's my amiable believing nature, I get sucked in by Championship misinformation😩

    Aye, that was a palaver!

Is he bringing Davie Weir with him?

You might be nearer the mark with Weir. QPR mate of mine mentioned Barton, not sure if it was news or a rumour!!

Saw them live in London mid to late 80's. My overriding memory of the night was the look on the security staff's face, several had stopped watching the crowd, and were looking at the stage wondering what on earth the noise was- I think it may have been the pneumatic drills!!!

  9. Done Molinari at 23.0, laid a little off a 2.9 this morning- looking forward to watching the final round.I hope Molinari will do it but my head says Tiger @ 4.9 is the value call.

    “IN EGG WE TRUST”

Off to a flyer- remind me please, who was the French female tennis player you said was a rising star?

  11. Really looking forward to watching the Masters today- relatively new to golf, lots of small interests to spice it up a little😁

    Molinari 23.0 , Watson 36.0 , De Chambeau 36.0  (In Egg We Trust), Grace 126.0 , Wallace 176.0, Mitchell 226.0

Last 3 are huge prices, all backed to win and place. Looked at the price history for the last 10 years of this event, this morning, only 2 of the last 10 years have not seen a golfer priced at 3 figures hit the frame( winners at 100.0, 140 & 150.0). 2015 when Spieth won 15.0(still places at 70.0, 90.0 and 70.0 again). Other exception 2010 Mickelson at 14.0 ( one 80.0) place.

Of course, this year could be different...but bookies must love this tournament💰💰

Only wish I knew something about golf to pick out the massive priced good things 🙁

Fully expecting @nadia and @Lemondropkid to be running around the forum waving their scarfs soon.

Easy 2-0 for Liverpool over Porto as well.

    It was tremendous TA 👍

New stadium did make us better after all Mr Pep and points to an exciting future. Short-term it will be hard without Kane, they can wheel out De Bruyne, Jesus (now there's a trick) and Sane as subs.

Away leg, will be 2-1 to Citeh. Llorente scores with a last minute, 20 yard bullet header to send us through- lump on💰💰💰😲😲

Had to cancel my Masters trip at the last minute due to illness. Bad news. Next year.

DeChambeau will try to follow in the footsteps of Willet, Garcia and Watson in winning the Dubai Dessert Classic and Masters in the same year.
The form players are Molinari, Kuchar and Rory.
    I’m going for DeChambeau

Sorry to hear you can't make your trip.

Fascinating selection, love a good form line/trend, 33s in a place, generally 25s, so juicy price too 👍

No ... I just get on the plane ( I don't even look for airline deals ) and get to where I am going ... nothing better than talking with the locals ( if we can understand each other ) to find out the "scoop" .. where to go .. hang-out .. and keep talking to the locals to find your way to whatever you need or want .. you would be surprised where you end up at times .. lol

I enjoy a little planning but increasingly see the sense in finding out chatting to the locals and finding out where's good to go- totally agree with you on this.

On my last 2 trips in Nov and Jan this really paid dividends. So many of the reviews on TripAdvisor ,et.al  and promotion on social media in no way match the reality. Much better finding out on the ground.
