Interesting story behind  the 100 baht Bar Snack Menu I introduced into the Bar.

I knew Ben would not like it so I waited until he went on one of his many Poker Trips and had it designed, printed and on show in the Bar before he got back. Needless to say he didn't like it one little bit because nobody is meant to have any ideas other than him. Then all the plaudits started on the forum about what a great idea it was and soon he no only changed his tune but was busy accepting the in Bar compliments.

Order goes into the kitchen and a couple of minutes later out come the on duty chef and a big discussion takes place between Service and the Chef. I hear the word "Potato" and I shout out "No potato just mushrooms and tomato"

Everyone repeats "Tomato" and I nod vigorously!

A few minutes later out come my lunch.

It was delicious - including the potato wedges!

Yes, I do  for all the TV channels except the EPL footie. So mostly all the sky sports channels 😀

I additionally subscibe to the cheapest True package that provides the EPL so that I get a perfect HD picture. The rest of the channels on that package are garbage with the exception of the golf.

When I am not watching sport I like to follow all the top TV series but after a while the Apps on the minix box stop working properly. So I go to Tukcom every 3 months or so and they upgrade my minix box for 100 baht but the girl who does it is quite fit and flirty so I give her 200 baht. She always adds a couple of mucky film Apps so she has me sussed.  😀

I used to play Golf with Las Vegas Paul & Terry Lee.

One day we were on the 18th at Burapha and he hit the tee shot of his life. A real long way and right down the middle of the fairway.

He wondered why we were falling about laughing until we pointed out he had set up turned to his right and had hit his ball down the 15th (?) fairway. We let him have a "Mulligan" cos he was a mate. 😀

Anyone remember when Las Vegas Paul managed that GoGo with the giant "fish tank" the girls used to jump into and nearly drown? 😀

I would go for "pink stripes" too.

Its the eyes that give it away ( well after the initial scan of tits , ass and legs ) not the stunner rating. An expat usually only rents for a couple of hours or so potential performance beats stunner factor every time. 😀

Seven weeks in plaster almost to the top of my leg but I still ride my wee Honda nearly every day. I was taken out by a motorbike taxi that pulled out without looking and clipped my front wheel in the wet. He then road off leaving me and Sai laying in the road with the big tendon in my knee snapped in half. Fortunately Sai just slid on the wet road and was unhurt. The total bill was just under 100,000 baht for the operation as they took me to BangkokPattaya Hospital. They charged 8,000 baht just to change the plaster. Fortunately, all but the outpatient visits were covered by insurance,

Secrets Bar is scheduled to close on the 7th March for the refurbishment and reopen as "Scooters at Secrets" on the 29th  March .
