Same here. Bali governor pushes to open in December, but even if he succeeded (unlikely, only the central government has the authority) he still has no "customers" . Australia is locked up, most European countries as well,...

All staff young, very smiling and polite. A real pleasure.

Had a bit the same thing with my daugther, the youngest of the tribe if you remember.
I took the 3 together, reminded the 2 boys that all 3 have the same family name, and if anybody disrespect little sister their responsability is "to take care of it".
Many years later, the little Miss has grown up a bit ...

In the old Patpong days (early 90's) I had an relationship with a girl that lasted a few months. A little wild animal. Had only one eye but fearless (a bit like the actual Miss Indo).
There was no way this would have turned in a serious relationship, too many differences between us and anyway, at 40 I was way too young to settle down.
Anyway, she married an American, divorced etc...
I met her a few years ago by chance (through a common friend). Had a few drinks together and she "updated" me on her life. 3rd husband, she had the green card, a house, a car, 2 lovers...as she said "a normal life"
When we left the joint where we were drinking the temptations was strong for "what about a last one at my room", but common sense prevailed and arriving on Sukhumvit I asked her "what way you go ? Left ? OK, I turn right, good night" No need to complicate things.

Seen a few done by guys in the Philippines, same stuff.
Here I Bali it is more young digital nomads telling how cheap you can live here and how wonderful it is here .....
The only bearable ones are those where the guy has a nice young g/f not shy to show off her tits and ass !

A very nice documentary on the life of porters in the Himalaya region.
Bear with the first minutes at the beginning, the young American is a bit a pain, later he becomes OK.
I guess he is a bi-national Nepalese / US considering his eyes and how he speaks the language.

Noodle soup with pork meat balls yesterday evening.
For some reason this time the meat balls "disintegrated" 😱😱😱😱
I gave the cook a stern warning !
PS : I have an idea why ..... (just a bit too much in a hurry when "rolling" the meat balls)
Maybe a glimmer of hope?

I didn't dare to say it .....
But yes, no way. Havent seen my kids since last Christmas, but no way any of us goes through this shit. We'll just wait it out.
And going through it just "to visit" .....🙈🙈🙈🙈
Now, if one wants to reunite with his family and STAY in Thailand, thats probably the only valid reason.
