Stick's column this week is about the Fiwfans scene in Bangkok about how it is better value, better offering etc than the Gogo's etc if you have a bit of Thai language etc - maybe a phone translator would suffice - IF one is so inclined.
Then use your browser to translate, click on Sukhumvit for example and see whats "available" and pricing....more in Stick's column.
I have used a similar site twice with good success

I had a car painted by him a 1978 Mercury Monarch all four quarter panels had four or five inch rust holes in them because it was a car from Michigan and the road salt ate through the panels. They did all the bond over primed it painted it clear-coated it and it looked like a million bucks when they were done with it it looked like it was ready for the garbage before they started. Cost me 200 bucks. They were definitely the fast food car painters

From what I have been reading they would need to be "new to the market" investors to get involved in this place.
They've also cut their operating hours by 2 hours giving the bars two Less hours in which to operate. And they have no choice

So they got Beach road beautification finished or did they all the equipments gone all the materials are gone no more employees working. But in walking today I noticed for whatever reason they left all the old blocks and brickwork in place between Soi 10 and Soi 12. Since it's now low season it would seem like they would continue to work and finish it unless they're not going to finish it and I can't imagine why just in that location anybody got any ideas?

It's that time of year again left this morning got to Bangkok Bank at 8:30 just as they were opening by 8:40 I had my passbook updated letter showing my balance and now they need a 3-month letter showing activity in the past 3 months. In any event 10 minutes in 10 minutes out.
Walked to Maneerat I walked in to a chorus of Hello Larry. They're a good group there they never forget me I'm sure it has nothing to do with the croissants I drop them by on occasion 😁. The place was mobbed as I expected it to be as they were just coming back from a week-long holiday. When Fon saw me she motioned me to the back and handled me right away no waiting which I didn't request or expect. I'm happy to wait my turn but she dealt with me right away. And then informed me I'd have to go down to immigration to get a photo taken she assured me there'd be no waiting and there wasn't the minute I got the immigration the photographer grabbed me took me in to the back office had me stand in front of desk 8 took my photo and I was gone less than 5 minutes. It's a pain in the ass going down there but if you got to do it you got to do it.
She also told me not to expect it back before Thursday due to the amount of business they're handling at the moment. I really like it down there I've never had a single issue that they haven't been able to deal with they're always fast reliable and while I do think there are companies now that may do it a bit cheaper I just feel safe with them so until next year I'm okay.
There are the guys that say why would you pay somebody to do it if you have the money in the bank you can do it yourself well I did do it myself a couple of times but the amount of time I had to wait down there it just wasn't worth it to me I'm one of those got more time than money guys but time is money so for the 8,000 Baht they charge ( using your own or 12500 if using their money) is in my opinion well worth it. Especially today it was an absolute madhouse down there
Let me add that I got my exercise for the day I did all of this on foot including walking from the agent all the way down to the immigration but I did take a bolt back because I was beat long walk

Noticed too Friday morning she had four huge buckets out front filled with water ready for the water play. Nice of her to do that considering her business hasn't opened yet.
I agree and you wouldn't have known it but as you walked up soi it was either seven or eight I can't remember which one I blasted you with water on the 19th I'm pretty sure it was you you had a hasher shirt on I hollered but it was a madhouse as you know if it wasn't you somebody else got Blast From Me😁

Have you figured out what this new place will be? My guess is a fresh food market, which would be a great addition to our neighborhood.
Noticed too how a lady that is probably the owner has been out their daily sweeping and keeping the place immaculately clean.
Pretty sure it's owned by the lady that owns the big big Market just across from there. She's a really nice lady I was walking by one day about a week before Christmas and she had thousands of packs of water and she was giving them away to everybody for Christmas anybody coming by she'd stop them and give them a nine pack of that water. She really is a nice lady

Nice and juicy. Almost looks like pork shoulder. I'd be happy with either.
Could be mistaken for pork the problem is they're so thin that I cooked them in the George Foreman for about one and a half minutes only so they don't get a nice Char on the outside if I cook them any longer they'll be overcooked considering how I like them. So that's why the lack of charge but they were nice
