Yea Bro .. me also .. never any Twitter .... a small tiny use of Facebook ( when it was first rolled out - years and years ago  ) -

But, all of my friends are still in prison or dead .. so Facebook was a waste of my time ... never any other social media sites ... plus, I hate the fact that "big brother" monitors all of the social media sites ....

I think I am better off without all of them ....

The only site I share anything with anyone else is this site ( and I have probably said to much about myself ) ....

A couple of techy sites .. but, I mainly use for knowledge / info .... never any general yak ...

I don't need any social media site to find happiness or worthiness in my life ...

Same.... my only "social media" outlet is here.

Twitter is for twats. What a crock.   FB ?   never, never, never

  2. I couldn't believe what I saw from flr. 25 of VT 6 during early Dec. I don't think it has improved since then. Ive never seen anything like it. A thick haze that hung all day....every day. A real eye opener when you can see it from that angle on a daily basis. Very ugly sight.

Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca/Oxford are all two jab vaccines, primary and boost.

Johnson & Johnson are trialing a viral vector vaccine similar to the AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine except it uses Ad 26 as the vector instead of Ad 5. It is a single jab vaccine.

The number of jabs may be modified depending upon what the trial data says.

The Russian Sputnik V vaccine, a viral vector, had two bob each way and used Ad 5 for the primary and Ad 26 for the boost.

Does this mean we'll have to vector to the sector ?   🐸

I don't think there has ever been a time I haven't teared up listening to that song. Very powerful piece of music IMO.

Yes,      if I just slapped it up there it wouldn't make much sense to have started the thread. That's the fun of it, being able to admit we all have some serious weaknesses. In my case often debilitating and ego crushing.    5555555555555555

The Roong Reuang Bus departs Swampy to Jomtien every hour prior to Covid. I don't know if they still do now. Their phone number is +66 86324 2389. Depart from the same spot as Bell, stop along Sukhumvit at North, Central, South Roads and finish at their bus station on Thappraya Road Jomtein. Maybe Google them and see if they have a Website.

Thanks   I will give them a jingle.  this is helpful

Whilst I don't think it is going too much off topic, I have a question to which I do not know and can not find the answer.

My question:  there are likely to be a number of different vaccines for Covid 19, coming onto the market in December 2020 and the following year.  If one has one of the vaccines and then another vaccine arrives that is better per se or better for a particular age group, is it possible/advisabe or otherwise to then have the second vaccine?

Good question. I don't know the answer.

But.... here are a couple things I speculate ---

The brand of vaccine that may be offered might be limited. So, some regions may only get one kind. In the beginning you may either have to be acceptable to that one, or travel (pay) for a different brand somewhere else.

Many vaccines require boosters. Some short term, like you need to get 2 initial jabs a couple weeks apart. And then some that you need to get a booster years later. Tetanus is another one that people need to get boosters on.

I am sure we will hear much more about this type of thing in the upcoming weeks, months, years. And I think vaccinations will become more upfront and more routine etc.  better accepted by more people.

No doubt though I still believe by far the most important vaccinations to get are the Hep A, and B. There is continued research going on for C.
