    Just changed my flights.

    Had a layover in Hongkong,which I usually like.f**k it.

    90 minutes and I’m gone.

Gets me into Bangkok nice and early.

I just made a reservation through HKG on American. I'm not going to worry about it. The other flight options I was looking at sucked.

  2. A lot of the "shitfests" on the other board in the politics section occurred partially because the rules allowed - "anything goes" basically.

Occasionally it bled over into some of the other threads, but was for the most part managed.

Then (because of one very distraught BM) the rules were changed. But IMO it was handled a bit uneven. But that's then, and it's over. Either way they lost many many good posters as a result.

My point here.... Recognize how the initial rules are. Adjust as need be, if necessary. Do not change drastically because one or two BM's are having a hissy fit. If you are going to make changes do so carefully, and even handedly. Radical changes may be good in theory, but they do have consequences if not handled properly.

Troubling news I just read about the Dallas female cop who got 10 years for shooting the man she thought was in her unit.

A witness who was “brave enough” to testify at her trial has already been killed. Comments seem to suggest it’s her colleagues exacting revenge, he crossed the “thin blue line”, etc.

Scary shit if it’s true, but if the cops had him killed, doubt we’ll ever know the truth

Sure would like to see a news link on that one.

Not 100% sure , I've always thought veal was the meat from milk fed calves , although these days think they have rose veal .... I've never thought where the liver actually came from , just tastes great ..

Chicken livers in sautéed garlic butter is fabulous. I get it at least once a trip at that Lebanese place in CF. Along with some hummus and bread. Makes a great little meal.

Dont think so, and Wiki doesn't make any mention of it.

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paella

    Although I found this :

The top 10 most popular dishes from around the world
    • Jerk Chicken.
    • Paella.
    • Frito Mist.
    • Feijoada.
    • Ful Medames.
    • Yangzhou Fried Rice.
    • Red Snapper Veracruzana.
    • Tuna Maki.

Hell, I only know 2 of the list?

What about all those fantastic Indian delicaties adored by the forums ?

Burgers ? French Fries? Steack ?

And what the hell is "Jerk chicken" ? (Ok, poulet boucané in the french carribbeans)

Why do you say you don't think so ? The list has it number 2. I said one of the most.

Jerk chicken is a type of Caribbean barbeque. Marinated and can be very spicy. It's awesome.

Paëlla ! Miam miam.... been ages I hadn't a good one.

Not easy to find over here, or in Asia in a general way.

You can also make it with chicken instead of seafood, but it is less tasty IMO. Except if you have young kids, they'll prefer chicken over seafood !

Actually (if I recall correctly)….It's one of the most consumed foods, if not the most, in the world.

Yep. Those homemade pots of sauce can go a long way.

The last one I made was so good that I ate it for four days in a row instead of freezing some.
