No lambs liver in Patts that I ever found. No maris piper potatoes and no decent smokey bacon!

But, some places do a decent liver and mash. They can only work with what they got I guess.

By the way, very cheap to make this in the UK. Liver was 55p, 2 slice of bacon about 20p, couple of potatoes and gravy. Total around £1 to buy and make. 38 Baht approx.

    Thanks !

OK then.... Where in Patts for a very good liver and mash ?

At the lambs liver, bacon and mash potato.

Mash potato with some smoked paprika powder through it, very nice.

    Sure looks awesome.

I'm not going to even try to make that here. And I'd be shocked if I can find it around home at any place.

Is there anywhere in Patts where I may find something like that of similar quality ?

Dinner today and quite a lot left over for the freezer.  Chicken, pasta, mushrooms, onion, sweet peppers, corn and baby carrots in a mushroom sauce cooked in the wok.

Looks very good and creamy. Any cheese in there ?

Did you just whip that together or do you have a recipe  ?

Driven piles vs bored piles.  Depends on the load that will be supported by the piles, soil conditions, environment, etc.....Very basic explanation

    Driven piles

easy to execute, precast concrete (or H-beams) piles are piled into the ground by hammering. It is rather easy, fast and cheap. But very limited in depth and diameter because of the soil friction resistance when driving the piles. Besides that it is very noisy and create huge vibration, hence impossible to use in the case of neigbourhing hotels, condos, etc... Except modern equipment with hydraulic vibrators.

    Bored piles :

Bored by buckets attached to a Kelly bar, driven by a rotation device attached to a carrier (crane) or with a CFA (continous flight auger).

Seeing the small diameter of the reinforcement cage on the picture in this case I would think CFA. The CFA method is smoother, but slower as there are 3 phases :

    - Drilling the piles

    - Pumping the concrete in.

    - Inserting the steel cage in the wet concreting (vibrating it)

Google / Wiki have some good tuturials on this.

    I do 2pm to 10.30pm.

It was okay when i was drinking as i could get blitzed all weekend and not have to get up monday morning. But now i just want to get my evenings back, especially during the summer. Its gutting when everyone goes home and you have all evening sweating your nuts off working while they can chill in the sun.

Did a year of nights once.Hated it and nearly crashed the car a few times by nearly falling asleep driving home at 6.00am.

I used to love that shift. Hated midnights. God damn freak show.
