I get what you're saying TS, but I enjoy the walk and nice to be waited on, providing the breakfast I get is what I enjoy.

Frankly I can't be arsed to keep the stock in the condo - it's a fag to get the shopping in. I don't like the condo stinking of fried bacon either.

I get a table to myself, have as many coffees as I feel like, sit quietly and read the Bangkok Post, do the sudoku and crossword, then meander back to start work.

If I had someone to cook it for me, fine, I'd enjoy looking out over the bay while I do all of the above. One thing against it is the strong wind that tends to blow straight into my balcony. That's really nice as a cooling factor, but the Bangkok Post has been known to go flying over onto next doors balcony, the condo of which is unoccupied . . .

I love reading the news (especially a real paper) with my tea in the AM.

Nice when living in a condo that there are places unoccupied next to you, especially above.

My father and I used to frequent this place 48 years ago. I was wondering if it was still here in Chinatown here in San Francisco not only is it still here it's just about exactly the way it was back then.

    Nice !

I went to a local Thai place a couple weeks ago with my sister. Nice meal, cost us about $30. In Patts it would have cost 6 or 7.

What a load of bollocks.... Some high quality, objective, neutral piece of journalism !

Blame the Dem / Rep, invoke God, cry, pray...but not one time mentionning too many guns around ...

". I am NOT going to use the evil acts of a handful of people to diminish the God-given rights of my fellow Texans. Period."

FFS, and people vote for those idiots ?

In this case, they just deserve what happens.

I agree, but sadly a lot of innocents and those who don't vote for those fucks get gunned down also.

At the south end of Second Road, not far from Pattaya Tai, there are two large TT Currency Exchange shops, almost opposite each other, on different sides of the road. Well, at least there were! The one on the west side of the road is undergoing some work. We'll have to wait and see whether it re-opens as a TT.

In the English-speaking world, Toys R Us is almost extinct. However, that is not the case in Asia. A new branch is about to open in Royal Garden Plaza.

Geeezus. They have one of those in CF.

Toy stores and brothels... only in Patts.   lol

Last concert I went to must have been Cradle of Filth in Aarhus, either at Voxhall or Train. At least 10 years ago.

Never been much of a concert goer. Most of the concerts I have been to was back when I was still at university. Mostly metal.

Besides Cradle of Filth, I have seen Paradise Lost (3 times), King Diamond, Henry Rollins Band, HIM, Fear Factory, Nina Hagen, Carpark North, Type O Negative, Rockbitch (no I didn't get the golden condom), The Rasmus, Katatonia, Einherjer, Konkhra, Illdisposed.

10% chance I go see Amon Amarth in december.

Henry Rollins Band is the only one I've heard from all of that. lol
