Another helpful tip for you guys....I you dont already know...

If you ever want to be able to read anything in Thai or Chinese on Shopee or Lazada... Use the camera option on Google translate....

Just look through your phone at the item your interested in on your desktop monitor....

The translation detail you can pick up is amazing.....Tiny print on labels etc...

Man is just like being able to read Thai or Chinese fluently....

Good advice, I do this all of the time whilst in Thailand.

I showed a mate of mine this who manages a place in Bkk. All of the staff are in a line group and when they don't want him to know what they are talking about they type in Thai.

He speaks fluent Thai, but can't read or write it, so never had the need for a translation app.

Now he does and loves being able to see what is going on in the chat.

The girls are not so happy that he now understands. LOL

Posted on another forum was a link to a FB page with the floor plan for the new DK Beer Town complex. While I noticed the empty land behind where they're currently working, I hadn't realized they were going to plant beer bars there too.

According to the plan, like Myth they have very little space set aside for parking. If it were me, I would have opted for one or more less rows of bars at the back and used the space for parking. If, after the complex opened, business exceeded expectations, then I would have added more bars. The other thing in the plus column for such a plan, with fewer bars it takes less customers to make the place look busy.

Some pics of the area earmarked for rows B thru E, starting with the entrance to the complex off of Soi 14.

Wow, where do these people think they are going to get their customers from?

Most tourists will never cross 3rd road in their lives and if they did, would never do again.  Lol.

Met up with BM's from another forum last night. One had a brown paper bag on the table in front of him. I tapped the bag and asked him which sex toy did he buy this time? He then pulls out the weirdest sex toy I've even seen, but perhaps one @boydeste is familiar with. :default_biggrin:

Never knew until last night there was such a thing as a pool training ball.

I have never seen one of those!

When I am teaching, I measure the spin in tip widths.

IE. Half a tip left or one tip low.

Problem with a training aid like that, is once you remove it and replace it with the real cue ball, you have no point of reference!

You know the saying if it's to good to be true it probably is,and I am sceptical, however it's literally a couple o quid,so will see.

From tiktok shop, lots of bargains,it's a shop I've never looked at till now, kinda like the crap yet find on lazada from China, that seems to be where a lot of stuff comes from, least socks from UK.

Beautiful weather today 😎, just done three hours of gardening at my Dads 😅, unfortunately the Green waste is closed today ( Liberation Day 🇯🇪 ) so will have to drop the bags off tomorrow

That's interesting, I had a bit of a clear out today and was in the car about to go to the tip,  or house holders recycling centre as it's called and I put it in Google maps to remind me where it is and it said it's closed.

Got a pleasant surprise this afternoon.

The Mrs.' Visa was delivered. They had said 1 week. It was only two days.

The very good news (this is the first time that I am seeing the Visa) is that it a B1-B2 Tourist Visa allowing multiple entries over the next 10 years. 🙂

    Wow, that's awesome 👌

    Well done you both. 🍻

The flight will leave EDI at 20:40 so the only decent connection to BKK will be onto EK372 with an 85 minute transit.  A bit too tight for my liking.

On the return it's similar with a flight departing BKK at 09:30 giving a 95 minute transit arriving in EDI at 19:05.

Yes, that's way too tight for my liking too.

I got roped in to The Royal Tournament at Earls Court in 1976ish but I doubt that is what you meant.

    It had three highlights..

    1 The Field Gun Competition.

    2. A group of sexy WRENS dancing on a stage to the Hornpipe toon

    3. Some young sailor climbing a mast with his mates ...

I was at the Royal Tournament around that time too with my parents.

Fantastic show with the field Gun comp being what I most remember.
