Best Sunday roast in Pattaya, not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. If I want a roast dinner in Patts while on holiday this is where I go. All other food is also 1st class. Anyone who has,nt tried this place give it a go.

Mum and Aunty own two chalets in the South Hams overlooking Plymouth Sound
As kids in the 60's and 70's we'd spend all spring and summer over there literally 200 metres from the beaches but as we got older it was just the occasional weekends. Last spring/summer because of Covid I stayed there for 6 months in mums and I'd forgotten how brilliant it is. Even if Thailand eventually opens I will only be going autumn/winter in the future
Contrast in photo on a hot day compared to a wet and windy one !!
Looks great, perfect for the summer months.

Poole beginning of September for my birthday would be good.
Gonna have to start looking as demand in the UK will be higher than normal.
Yep, & the prices.

I hope for barowners in central and south Pattaya they start venturing over from the darkside. It doesn't look like the current entrance restrictions into Thailand will be eased this year. It's going to get brutal.
If. they do let people in it will probably be November/December

I don't doubt, I know it won't happen any time soon. On the other hand, corruption and the like in Thailand is much less of a problem than some other countries in the region I can name.
TRUE, Corruption is world wide now & getting worse as the weeks go by.

Or Thai immigration could modernise and start accepting debit and credit cards. Even better, make those mandatory and forbid cash, that will cut down on corruption and opportunities to embezzle the cash.
Doubt that will be any time soon then.

Lol......Why would I worry?? I'm fit, healthy, normal BMI and don't have a problem in any of those areas
You can live a mongering lifestyle and still maintain optimal BMI.
You don't have to live like a monk to remain fit and healthy
You quite obviously have to be a quiet mongerer if you are healthy & fit like a monk or quire boy I M H O

What's that got to do with BMI?
Nothing, worry or think about the list if you want
- weight / BMI
- blood pressure
- resting heart rate
- cholesterol
- blood sugar - A1c & fasting
- fitness & exercise - e,g., how far can you easily walk at a good pace?
- smoking?
- alcohol intake
I,d rather just live life than worry or be thinking about a list like that.

You only get 1 life, eat what you like drink what you like smoke if you want to and shag whatever floats ya boat. ENJOY LIFE TO THE FULL WHILE YOU CAN

Happy new year to all. Sat at home with Stilton cheese, biscuits & a bottle of Bushmill,s 10 yr old single malt. That should do the job.

Will be amazed if tourists return to LOS next year. But be warned Thailand don't leave it to long or we will find somewhere else to go especially with the exchange rate being where it is. I feel the good days in Thailand will never return.

I've been thinking about booking for the mid/end July 2021 which some may say is optimistic but I believe will be achievable. In what format that maybe and at what level of hassle factor is more of a question mark. I'm hoping it will be just a fit to fly permit pus insurance, but what will be will be.
My wife is keen to get back to see family and i really fancy a nice long break as we missed out on any holidays these last 9 months
We normally fly direct with EVA Air (last 5 years) and prior to that a mixture of Thai and Eva. At present, EVA are coming in very dear compared to the other two so I am considering reverting to Thai or choosing, perhaps a non direct middle eastern airline.
Feck knows what's happening with THAI Air but I would imagine they would be back flying in 8 months time and bailout by the govt. Never flown with BA but understand they fly with a Dreamliner, so could be an option.
Just wondered if any sage BM's would offer thoughts.......
Think when we get back to some sort of normality EVA Air prices will come down in price, otherwise they will have empty planes. At the moment I think they are just hoping some will book & pay the hiked prices. Always fly with EVA as I think they are the best, I shall hold out for now.

Same as Herr Boydeste ........ could not abide them when I was young. Like rhubarb, tomatoes and liver. Know enjoy all of those.
Sprouts are great Christmas Day but agree so much don't overbuilt. Taste great the next day chopped up and fried in butter with bacon, chestnuts and sea salt.
Like Marmite too on toast only ....
Cream cheese & Marmite sandwiches. Was my packed lunch for school everyday. LUSH

Normally have these steamed that way you don't boil the flavour out. Could quite easily eat a plate of these with some gravy & nothing else.

I avoid anywhere with live music, they must think the louder they play the more customers they'll get. Saying that Bodega bar on 2nd road isn't to loud but the rest of them well.......... & most of them are shit IMHO.
