I was just outside...the sky has not fallen in ....and I was just giving my opinion after actually doing some travel here now in this present day in Thailand and what was actually taking place..... you know...the reality of things. cheers

Quick summary of the trip. On Thursday night I went to Soi7 and Soi7/1...... there has been some new bars opened up there. It was a little busy than Soi 4..... some bars had more than others.... but for a week night was ok. Bkk seems to be slowly coming back to life on the bar scene. Talking in some bars...the girls are starting to head back. On saying that...there seemed to be more FL around. Walking around a few business are gone and looks like will not be back. Same with Hotels... a few favorites have closed their doors but what the future holds for them...who knows...but hopefully they reopen when things pick up. On the flights ....Air Asia.... both flights on time...both flights were half to three quarters full so people are travelling domestically. Vaccinated and unvaccinated people .....all of us..... can all get about together...enjoy each others company.... and get on with things...... and the sky will not fall in. cheers

I went past the Dynasty Grande this morning on the way to the airport It is indeed shut down...now behind a large tin fence along the entire front and on the side cheers

They have done a lot of work on the Domestic Terminal. Plenty of eating places...places to get a beer if U desire...Coffee Club...Starbucks...Macca's....Bürger King...to name a few. It is a more open design...looks good...they have done a decent job. cheers

Arrived at Don Mueng going on 30 minutes ago. The International Terminal is closed only the Domestic Terminal open/running. Entering the airport U walk past a temperature check and that is it...no sign in. Went to check in and as I had a bag the Air Asia person directed me to a counter where they also issued my boarding pass. At no time was I asked if I was vaccinated or had a recent Covid test..zip..nothing. Proceed to Security to head in the terminal. All they asked was ID..Boarding Pass..nothing about being vaccinated ...been tested...zip..nothing. From arriving...checking in..thru security...to getting a coffee...all of 20 Minutes. Again all they worried about was a temperature test and that you wore a mask...full stop. cheers

Heading back to the land of cement tables tomorrow. Will give update of the procedure of flying on a Domestic flight at the moment out of Don Mueng. cheers

As gutted that was the Reception Area...eating area..etc...all gone. Also all the signage gone and they were working inside. cheers

Bloody hell...people say BKK is hiso..but they have a hide to serve Leo on a wooden table/bench.... time they realised the way you serve beer in Thailand is on cement table/benches. Dear oh dear and they call Issan backwards...555 cheers

Just back for a rest before heading out for a sundowner. It seems most bars are opening at 2pm but Morning Light and one or two more were open before. Word on the street is closing at 11pm but some places have slow clocks....555 The Dynasty Inn all locked up and the Dawin Hotel is gutted. Will they open again...who knows Bullies just around the corner is gone...gutted with workers inside and bull still outside. Not sure what is going on there. cheers

I have to visit BKK to do a little business and meet up with a mate returning home. Flew down today with Air Asia, good flight and it arrived 15 minutes early into Don Muang. As said on another topic...when checking in..all normal...no asking if Ur vaccinated. Sign into airport, a temperature check and another before getting on the aircraft, wear a mask and Ur good to go. Tonight staying in the Sathon area...dining..few beers..catching up with a good mate before he departs so will not be more to say for tonight. Tomorrow moving to the Nana area so will be looking around a bit so will take some photos and give an update what is going on there....open...etc. cheers

I see your article is from August last year but if you read it it also states that if you are unvaccinated you can fly with them. As said from my post...I have indeed checked with Air Asia.....I did so before I booked the ticket...and was told that you can fly unvaccinated. As said...I fly tomorrow.....I will let you know how I go. cheers

No problem...it seems you have put your life on hold for near on three years even after being vaccinated 3 + times and if someone else has decided to actually get on with life you seem to get your knickers in a knot. What is your problem? You are protected against all of us unwashed and indeed you have admitted that you will not travel.
