Really happy about that, I have tried the Italian next door and it is not as good.  Quite a few bars in Soi 88 and some great Thai eating places.  Hope you have tried the Food Court just across the railway crossing on Soi 88, absolutely brilliant options for food, all cheap, great prices on beer and weekends they have bands down from Bangkok. I used to eat there often.

Also some great restaurants on Soi 94 on both sides of the railway.  A lot of people swear by the Indian on the eastern side of the railway track on 94, I have eaten there but I am not an Indian food lover but it tasted ok although bloated me up big time with the portions.

  3. Well I did go out and buy something but I needed it anyway.

Holland and Barrett were selling their Precision Whey Protein for £13.99 against their normal cost of £29.99.  In fact in their penny sale (buy one full price buy another for a penny) the price still worked out at almost £15 so I was quite happy to buy one yesterday.

For info having lost 2.25 stone in 4 months (through working hard in my job) I found that not only was I losing weight but also muscle.  After having a good look through Google and a subsequent visit to H and B I was advised to try a building muscle/performance Whey protein.  OK the price is steep but too be honest my ability to maintain myt duties throughout the day and a feeling of my body not looking so scrawny I am happy to have found and paid for the product. That and the Apple Cider Vinegar seemed to have perked me up.

The only other things I have bought in the sale were toys for my wee one at the Entertainer chain, some good deals, better than 50 percent on offer. Priceless really when kids are concerned.

I bought an Amazon dot at half price for use over in Thailand.  It was half price at £24.99.

Just set it up and very pleased so far.

Bought a Racing UK sub, normally a crazy 24.99 per month, got it for £10 per month for 12 months

I need to know what these two statements mean, I am a little slow, cheers

Waiting for a taxi, taking us to an elephant sanctuary, sam phan floating markey, plearn wan village, all around hauhin.

Think that is the floating market that charges 200 baht to get in, used to be free. I stopped going even though I used to get in via my Thai driving licence, they then stopped accepting that. After all it is just shops.

Get to the Hua Hin Hills Winery, they do lovely lunches in a nice setting with good view over the vines. Nice sampler of 3 of their wines for 290 baht too. They used to do a free shuttle service twice a day from next door to Villa Market on Petkasem road.

Mate I've never been accused of being tight before but I haven't spent a penny yet today. One of the Polaks has insisted on buying a double Żubrówka, bison grass vodka.

    Kill or cure boys...

Obviously I've drank most of it while typing this out.

Drinking the Żubrówka, bison grass vodka solo without mixers and without a host of other drinks will cure the cold. Me thinks the number of other drinks you are having will not aid your recovery.

  7. Just watched an interesting film called 'Avenge The crows', about a vendetta between rival LA gangs.  Totally not my normal viewing but I got embroiled in it especially as the cast was worth watching. The lead Danay Garcia was stunning in an unconventional way, she was lovely. Had Lou Diamond Philips and Danny Trejo as well.

There was a guy in it looked so familiar, I just couldn't place him until I saw the credits, it was Steven Bauer who was much younger when he played Manny in Scarface.

Poorly scripted movie and probably done on a cheap budget but I enjoyed it.
