Here's the trailer on YT. Quote that probably sums it up best, "when you see more, you want more". Sad attitude to go through life with.

It was no different when i was partying there, thats why we went there, everything you could possibly want was available.

My villa i had built in Denia Spain had a daily ferry to Ibiza and only a 3 hour journey, i never did it but many did lol

So yesterday whilst wading through our lawn, I said "OK with such a lack of gardening services in Korat, I will do it myself. Never mind the 41 degree temperatures" so I set off strimming the edges and difficult places. After about 20 minutes the strimmer died. Not the batteries which were fully charged, the motor had overheated and cut out. Tried reviving it but it was dead. Had to go out and buy a new one.

This new house is costing me greatly!

Oh dear, you're a braver man than me TT, i would'nt go near my garden in this heat, be careful of heatstroke !!!

Hopefully wifey will call our gardener today and ask him to call your wifey.

He is on a pension and has limited resources, no insurance. Any ideas, please.

Keep him away from Bangkok Hospital if he does'nt have any insurance, i think as @Zeb mentioned Pattaya Memorial would be my choice.

I drink much better rum when I am at home or staying in a condo, but I do like Sangsom when I am out and about because you can get it everywhere and it is cheap; I find it's easier on my body than drinking beer all night.

One of my best mates owned a pub in my home village and he was a collector of different rums from around the world to provide for his customers. Everytime i visited the UK or family/mates visited me here in Thailand he always wanted me/us to bring him back Sangsom, it was well liked.

I stand to be corrected but isn't Sangsom made from sugar cane and is therefore rum not whiskey.

Either way, it tastes like piss!

I did'nt say it was whiskey ! i've always known i was drinking rum cos i'm not a whiskey lover 👍

I'd forgot about The Hamsters, saw a few of their gigs around Dudley, fantastic.

They were regulars at The Brook and i never missed their appearances, i even bought a couple of their CD's. ''Slim'' their lead guitarist/vocalist was a very talented guy. Sadly they have now retired.

Providing an agreement on price can be reached we will throw in a new us style fridge, quality master bedroom furniture from Major, a TV washing machine (front loader) gas hob. Water filters, pump, italian sofa the list is huge. How about I send you a few photos?

    Cheers

Thank you very much. It was a dream that Mrs TT and I had. Reality was more expensive than the dream and now we are stuck with a lovely town house, fully westernised and beautifully decorated that we are trying to shift.

Providing its priced correctly i would'nt have thought you would have any problems selling, i'd be happy buying it :default_goodjob:

Call me what ever you want, but I had no idea about "Sangsom" until I came to Thailand. For some reason though, on boys night out, if I decide to drink hard liquor, that with Coke is my go to choice...still to this day, really like the feeling I get after a few.

Ever tried asking any bartender or waitress here " Do you have Crown Royal"?  Chok Dee..

My choice of spirit too Mike, just love a few Sangsom cokes at night sat out on my patio listening/watching to Youtube Premium along with a couple of spliffs lol.

I've never been a whisky drinker but have a few mates who love to partake.

Seen them quite a number of times . First time was 1970 in Hyde Park London, doing Atom Heart Mother. It was then a few years till I saw them do Pulse in 1994.

Going to see the Australian Pink Floyd in Swansea in November, they are one of the better cover bands and play only in large venues as their road show is quite large.

Only saw them once in the early 90's at the Silver Clef awards, Knebworth and were they good. I was a regular at The Brook Southampton which was a great smallish live music venue and many tribute bands appeared there, my favs were The Hamsters, great TB who did loads of Jimi Hendrix songs.
