Jeez Gal that's a fine feed of spuds.
Yep. We get real good pork around here, and cheap. Just finished off some nice chops.
Beef prices are ridiculous.

The only reason I first went into the place was because of the forum. Then following that was because of meeting friends I made through the forum, and the pretty good food.
Other than that a fair probability I would have never stepped foot in there.

Great city. Sadly it's losing it's charm. Ch...s will ruin it.

Wow. He was a big force back in the 80's.

You saw the Dead in 1970? Lucky bastaad. I didn't have the pleasure of seeing them until 1983 and again in the 80's a few times. Then I followed them around in the early 90's on the East Coast. 23 concerts later I had to give it rest as I needed to get a career and my Dead Head days came to a close. Then when Jerry passed, my interest diminished even more.
Didn't see them until the mid-80's, but listened from early on.
Saw Jerry's last show at Soldier Field.

That portion was half of a pack that cost £3,so its a pretty cheap and tasty meal.
Other ingredients cost around a pound so about £2.50 for the meal.
Yep. Usually get 2 good meals out of it.
My typical meal is usually around $3 (or less). And I enjoy most of them.
I look for meat that is on clearance (often good stuff around $3/lb.). Cook it or freeze it that day. Most of the sides I buy are date over due and cheap, but good quality. Save a ton on that.

Just reloaded Google Chrome on my PC.
2 hours ago my PC screen went blank. I rebooted and the system tried to repair itself, 30 mins later it is still saying repairing despite it saying it will take a few minutes. Pulled out the battery and rebooted, eventually got the home screen but on hitting the Chrome Icon or CC Cleaner Icon, nothing happened. I kept trying but could only eventually get Firefox, Chrome was not responding so uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Screen went black again and again pulled out battery as showed power on but no screen. Rebooted and now have got Chrome with everything still bookmarked, what a bloody pain.
Maybe time for anew laptop.
Time for bed......................
Lot of info coming out now on how bad chrome is. I never used it.

The remodel in front of The Avenue is nearly done. They still have to install a new sign.
They replaced the elevated walkway and fake stones and grass with a giant concrete slab. They textured part of it to look like wood and another part to look like tile. At least that should make it less slippery when it rains.
Now there's more room for the night market that's starts when the sun goes down.
That intersection is home central for me, usually.

Going to have to do that soon.
Bought some liver a few weeks back. Thawed it, but left it too long so it never got cooked. I haven't had it in years.
BTW - If you like liver chicken livers can be real good. Fired up with some garlic and butter, some hummus on the side with some pita. Lovely
