I Get bored of rice after a few days and turn pleb.....

Out in the sticks up past Kanchanaburi and the River Kwai bridge, Probs 2 hours past river Kwai stop on train. Easiest/quickest way to see it is do tour from Kanchanaburi to Erawan/Hellfire pass/anywhere up there that includes 30 min trip on ‘death rail’. The station they plop you on at has this view..... Note the railway skirting the edge of the mountain on stilts in the distance on the left.

Rocked up in Udon a couple of hours ago which wasn’t the original plan. Having a couple of beers in night and day complex which I first came to probably 6-7 years ago. There are a few more bars in the general area than there were back then, reasonably busy tonight but it is high season I suppose....

Chiang Khan, arguably the prettiest market street in Thailand....should have got some daytime pics really so you can see the wood house lined street better.
