  1. Thanks, yea, your right, looking to leave ASAP, every night I lay down to sleep, I can feel each pulse of my heart, pumping blood, sometimes it hurts, sometimes not. I was doing fine after the last heart attack, 18 months ago, but have since ran out of my meds and the Thai meds aren't working as well. So, figure I need to get back to a system that worked and forgo my life of retirement here, but I'll take the wifey with me this time, and start a new life with her over there. Just a Dammmmmn shame, I designed, drew the blueprints, coordinated all the trades and material purchases, had daily Skype conference calls for 2 years it took to build, with all the subs to make sure the house got built correctly, only to have to abandon it . Oh well, as they say, shit happens, then we die !!
  2. Sorry, guess the price might help. HA! HA! 5,400,000 Baht
  3. Well Shit, just when ya think you got things figured out............ I thought I was having my 3rd heart attack last week and have decided to go back to my Shithole country for medical help. Doesn't look good, so doubt that I'll be back, anyway. Farm - 7 Rai, rice fields and 3 ponds and several outbuildings, including a Thai kitchen/restaurant, a workshop, rice storage room, tool storage room, outdoor bathroom with shower, large storage building, cow barn, pig pens, chicken coop, duck pens and duck ponds, vegetable gardens everywhere House - 244 sq. m, 3 bedroom, 3 bath with sewing room/shop, or 4th bedroom with 1/2 bath, fully equipped Western kitchen, fully equipped outdoor Thai kitchen ( for cooking stinky food ) HA! HA! All steel framing with 6" concrete block walls, fully concrete grouted and rebar reinforcements, 1 1/2" insulated Bluescope metal roofing panels, with additional 3" of fiberglass insulation below that roof for extra cooling. House is cool even in the hottest months. House was just finished in 2022. Beautiful ceramic tile throughout, 2 bathrooms have custom glass block walls, 10' ceilings, 6 ceiling fans, 2 - 63 amp electric panels, 1 for the house, 1 for the farm, city water and 2 wells, 1600 septic tank, internet and a separate satellite dish, 3 air con units, 2 sets of sliding glass doors, 1 set from master bedroom to the courtyard, burglar bars on all 18 windows. PM me for any further information or to schedule viewing of the property.
  4. Anyone doing solar systems on your house/farm ? We have a 100 watt solar panel for each of the 2 wells on the farm, just to insure we have water when the electric cuts off,( usually once or twice a week ), but want to upgrade to a bigger system to get the whole house wired in. Any names of dealers, costs, you paid for yours ? pictures would be appreciated too, if ya have any. THANKX !
  5. Actually, that's not true, we have 2 more ponds on the farm, that were dug when the wife's dad bought and built the farm 70 years ago, and they are still holding water year around, and they aren't as deep as this one.
  6. Check it out....... a customer owed the wife some money for some sewing work she did for her awhile back and didn't get paid, so the wife went to her house to collect and was told she didn't have the money, around 300 bucks, the wife noticed an excavator on the side they're barn and asked if it worked. The lady then suggested, her husband could dig a small fish pond for my wife for the balance due, and she accepted. Here's what we got , 5 meters deep, 8 meters wide, and 55 meters long !! Pretty Nice !! HA! HA! Some of my ducks enjoying they're new swimming pool !
  7. Hey guys, Has this ever happened to you? A customer came to the house to look at a dress my wife was making her, but the wife was down by one of the fish ponds and I was in my office working, and this lady just walked in the front door, didn't ring the bell, didn't knock, nothing, just walked in the house. I heard a noise and went to investigate, and found this old Thai lady and her friend walking around my house. I told them they had to please wait outside, with hand jesters and ackbye( "go away" in Thai ) forgive the spelling, as I don't speak fluent Thai, they kinda understood and went outside, and I went to the wife and asked if this is normal, never happened before, and she said it was ok, she was family. Turns out, she was a friend of a friend, who knew one of my wife's aunts, and she was Thai, so it was ok ! WTF ???
  8. Hey guy's, here's what I eat, 6 mg Cholchine for the pain and 90 mg Arcoxia for the water swelling. When I get my attacks, the first sign I get is a tingly pain in my big toe, then I know it's coming, so I start eating both, twice a day. After a few days, I don't have the pain anymore and it goes away, BUT...... if I wait 3-4 days after I feel the first tingly pain, then it's too late and have to deal with it for the next 2-3 weeks ! It truly sucks. I Used To do the black cherries, then the black cherry pills, in concentrated form, and that worked.... sometimes, but hard time to get either here, so
  9. Hey Guy's I have lived in Thailand for the past 16 years, first 11 in Pattaya, last 5 here in Nong Sanom, bout an hr. North of Sakon Nakhon. 66 years old, white guy, retired from construction industry, enjoy painting, (No, I don't want to paint your house ! HA! HA!), I paint landscapes, portraits, abstract stuff, etc., etc., golf, cooking, gardening. We have a small farm here, raising pigs, ducks, chickens, fish and fresh vegetables. The wife is Thai, but speaks very little English and I'd like to talk to some people, and read about English matters once in a while. I am one of the only Farangs in my village, think there are 2 more, but haven't met them. Look forward to joining, Thankx ! Scott
