I got into Ludlum back in the '70s and read several of his books - they're all of the "paranoid thriller" genre and I did enjoy them but eventually the themes became repetitive and I lost interest. They do seem to translate well into successful movies, though.
It's the first Ludlom I've ever read. I think a degree of repetition is common to all prolific thriller writers.
One of my favourites is Walter Mosely and he recycles character across different series but is good enough to get away with it. That is until his most recent novels that is🙂, he is 72 though.

Gal sounds like you've come up with a great idea. The vans going to be an asset that should retain it's value (maybe don't respray it in QPR livery though😛)
As Krapow says it will give you a decent income and flexibility.
Additionally if you want you'd be able to help the hospice or a charity shop you support by picking up donations. I've done a couple of mini house clearances before I left the UK where a local hospice and the RSPCA have had a volunteer come around with a van.
The guys picking up the staff have always been a good laugh. You'll get to know the people in the shop and have a bit of banter with them
I'd say you could pick your hours/days with Amazon and do a little volunteer work as a side line if that interested you.

Pattaya seems to push the Greater Fool Theory to new and even more ludicrous levels.

We'll be at Vana Nava next month.
@Lemondropkid will you be in Hua Hin still next month?
Just looking a heads up where you'll be if so, so know where to avoid 😁
Kun Som, I had heard the streets of London were going to be safe next month for ordinary decent God fearing people.
Cost of UK bound flights surged but felt a trip home was in order. So sadly will miss seeing you in Hua Hin😜

Roads were torn to hell in some parts last time. Probably still is. Concrete dust everywhere.
What roads are you referring to, and when did you visit?
There's a problem in Rama II in both directions south of BKK on the road to/from BKK. That can turn your journey into a slow slog in peak times . This was the case as of Tuesday this week.

I live here but can't recommend anything unfortunately on the family front @AJSP that Phantom hasn't suggested above.
I'm not sure that much has changed in Hua Hin on the tourist front. Probably the biggest change here and has been the shift in the nightlife away from Bintabaht but that's not a family activity😛

Somehow I thought Neto played for Wolves
Just looked at the fixtures and noticed there's almost no games on St.Patrick's weekend, but thankfully the mighty Spurs are playing- concentrating on the league!!

Stunned at the thought Pogba could have been taking performace enhacing drugs!! Bit of a shame really was such a wonderful player in his first spell at Juventus.

I think I mucked up and used my WC too early .... my idea was to get the best team I could afford for the rest of the season and use my FH in 29 .....but I already have four flagged players in my squad and not sure about one of the keepers .... 🤷♂️
Don't Panic😀
You seem to be doing OK in the bigger picture!! I got 20 points more than you this week, can't see it happening again this season.
As a clear non-expert who thinks Wolves are a decent team, I'd pick your biggest problem as a Wolves concentration risk having 3 of their players.
But then again you've most likely realised several things I haven't😛

Never went to Crazy Daves. Didn't the Canadian conman "Harris Black" do part of a commercial for them once?.
No idea 🙂. You did get to overhear some classic conversations from the guys who'd sit out front of Canterbury Tales.
Seemed a popular gathering point for local expats putting the world to rights!

Don't miss Crazy Dave's . English breakfast and Only fools and horses, one repeats and the other on a constant loop- hell.
Loved Canterbury Tales

Amazing character actor.
Clockwork orange, Yes Minister and Blake's Seven. Then Blackadder, Gandi and the Bill.

Game plan to start is to use Google Translate to hear the sounds of the expressions that I already know. -> (Teim h̄ı̂ tĕm).
From there drill vocabulary making sure to hear the phonetics properly. From there practice with the Mrs and possibly take a course.
That sounds like a great plan.
I'm struggling a little with my Thai, but must say the most enjoyable part are the lessons. Met some great people, picked up learning tips/resources off them and feel more motivated.
With your strategy you will be more than capable of comfortably doing a beginners course- you'll probably be one of the better students in there.
Good luck- 5th times a charm😁

The best option. One to one tuition in person, but also available online if cannot make it to the language centre.
Very wise words about one to one tution in person.
Discovered today in an attempt at an online class that the camera on my laptop no longer works 😭.
Was so frazzled by it, forgot I also have a relatively new but basic tablet that works just fine!!!
