My tip for Thai flight is not to go to your seat when they call your section, I like to wait till I am almost the very last person on the plane to walk on, that way you cop a look at the empties, I drop myself on an empty row when I can.

I prefer EVA to most, I sometimes choose Thai because on Thai there is more of a chance of 3 seats to yourself, rarely does that happen on EVA.
